And we say welcome to this edition of inside the cage update with those this week we have a very special guest. That's right UFC president Dana White. Joining us here on the program and Dana thanks so much for unit because we are getting ready for UFC 133. And Philadelphia. He got Tito Ortiz Rashad Evans the rematch the Huntington Beach bad boy. Taken this one on nine short notice how is each player -- since their first go round. Olive ball the ball enough I was four years ago you know Rashad Evans was very Green just come off the Ultimate Fighter since then. You know he's he's won a world title has been a big fights he's been a coach on the Ultimate Fighter he's a completely different -- than He used to -- as far as Tito Ortiz goes. You know Tito is and this -- can tell us his last fight He just knocked off the number seven ranked light heavyweight in the world. And basically put himself back on the map and then. You know can gain a lot of fans I think in his last win. You know you -- in the most popular since 2003 eighths and the fact that He jumped back in. Which I think was the right move is the figure He just came off a great camp. Had no injuries in the fight. Was already in great shape and jump right back into this fight against a guy who hasn't fought in a year and a half so it's there's a big fight for both these guys. Did -- northern California we have our eyes on Chad Mendez to be taking on honey yeah I yeah out what impresses you most. About money Mendez. Well -- this is one of those guys right now the a lot of people are saying this guy should get the next title shot so we'll see how He does and and and this fight. There's a big fight perhaps you know these people are screaming for this kid to get a title shot. So 00 win on Saturday would be big for him. I I don't wanna get out over the skis let's say does wind does He get a shot. At at either Jose Aldo or Kenny Florian. That's what everybody's been asking me you mean. We got to see what happens on Saturday we'll see what happens he's definitely is definitely and there he's got to win on Saturday in the we'll figure out what happens when Chad that's. All right I gotta ask you about a chance team alpha male counterpart. Them of me shut takes the newly crowned women strike force champ did her bout with Marlins couldn't do anything to convince you that women's MMA. Has brighter future under the USC banner. I love the fact that she called me out said hey -- Dana White. You know women's MMA is here to stay in that you know were in all the stuff that she said that -- out perform the way that she did. But it doesn't change the fact that you know. What I've been saying all along there aren't enough good women out there to create entire division yes we do do some one off -- here and there but until there's enough good females out there competing. They can create an entire division it's it's going to be tough to do. Pilots impact and tapping and hand UFC 133. What's your sleeper pick for fight of the night and why. Well I think fight of the night it's gonna be jockey on the vs detour Belfour -- to dwell on this -- I think that. Hockey dollars one of those fighters first -- -- one fight of the night three fights in a row. And this guy is in your face -- punches he's trying to taking down. He tries to win fights -- ball court always has that this thing or sometimes you -- and gets out there and won't let his hands go He will not be able to do that against hockey alma. In which I think will make this the fight of the night as it could be part of the night are knockout of the night won't. That sounds like it's going to be finding UFC president Dana White thanks for joining us here on inside a cage have a great -- UFC 133. Thank you I appreciate it.
