Coach how did you best use your time during the bye week in terms of preparation and also probably time off. Though first thing we try to do is make sure that I guess it was too early in the season it's really back off. We had three really hard physical practices. We scrimmage are younger guys are not travel team has to continue their their progress and our schemes. We we spent some time on UCLA. We spent a lot of time on us correcting things that we we haven't done well experimenting on some new things take a look at some things. And we giving as few days off militant to catch their breath and really curious for the stretch run of the season. Terms of going over your first three games one and without having to game plan for that particular week for last weekend. What did you come up with that you felt needed improvement there where you wanna see improvement over the next. Test match against just the efficiency. Both sides of the ball you know defense we've worked a lot on our different blitzes and -- drops and you know our guys have been there communications specialist can be an out making sure that we. Got all the guys in the right spots in the right things. -- very well offensively. Once again just get back to our philosophy make sure that all of our double teams or the way they need to be -- over communications and we have a couple different schemes so race which was good some which didn't that's what you want during the bye week. Get a chance to experiments things. Is it fair to -- the Arizona wind where is your best game so far and if so it was do -- is this a little interruption in momentum. It was our best game believe. It's it was almost it's almost too early in the season and say that we really disrupted anything. We've we've been trying to get better. We had a quick practice last night which were pretty well. So we really we really think that. We're we're we're getting ready to wrap up and now we're trying to create momentum as opposed to losing any moment we have before. How much can the fact that school's in session the students will be in the stands it's a Saturday night game. Contribute to you know momentum as you return home for Saturday. Hopes of guys should be exciting environment usually travels well so we'll have their contingent there as well. So we're we're excited about the atmosphere -- nineteen and I think it has been -- try to -- play. -- wobbly start this is -- UCLA team that. Played its best game on the road at Oregon State last Saturday what did you glean from. Watching any of that game as you may have. Vs a Bruins team that has struggled against San Jose state a common opponent. They were quarterback play as been very good Richard Bruno is a good quarterback he's made good decisions on the ball accurately. Geez he's got that this offense and and then knows how to read it -- called a ball until He gets a couple first downs -- his legs. He's really even out their offensive production. And this is UCLA team whose strength offensively is it's running game. Derrick Coleman and not Johnathan Franklin are pretty accomplished backs that -- -- the conference knows well. Tell me a little bit about how you you know view this game and and what you have to do in order to be successful against an offense that has two big backs. Well us things we talked to Begin -- bust up and around this is one of those teams that if you if you let them run and how they wanna run it. You have a long day and they've shown they get it when they get rowand it's pretty good Tex had a tough time stopping at times and they had admittedly running this Texas and they. Did a good job on the last two weeks especially this sort of state. You guys need to know where they're supposed to be and you know where their help was coming from and we've got to get these -- on the ground. Can -- -- nearly intact machines -- you need to see step up performances from some other players. Discuss. Oh absolutely. Once again as a send them last week -- -- -- stepped in and played really well suited Jarrett Lancaster played really well as well. Who played both of those guys. They know that we have high standards for that position. Shane has reminded them. There's a -- -- for -- they -- play at a high level. But you know to have a lot of confidence those guys they've been here for two years three years respectively. And we we think they're gonna play very well. It's always an interesting twist it seems. When Stanford and UCLA play regardless of who may be ranked team and who's not. You have some experience with that Rick Neuheisel question on the same path. You know Baltimore what is the X-Factor you suspect -- for Saturday night. Yeah it's going to be emotional atmosphere. They've they've played well at Stanford they just half and we've we've played well against them at times and -- willingness and at times. And so this is going to be this is going to be an exciting environment it's -- good team to keep its composure the team that's able to run the ball the way they wanna run up. And then play well on defense and you know hopefully we can get some turnovers and and create some other moments in other ways. It's really really hopefully gain an advantage. Finally coach job the first week where you're players -- and in school session. In -- game week out how does your schedule change what are the challenges of now taking on the extra load of class work. We really try to against Arizona to institute this season. Program so that the guys get used to the times. Last week in there they're there while it is great because a lot of the pre pretty class. Stuff as far as you know getting acclimated. So this week hopefully will be able to -- -- and -- know guys will be called classes and we just say you know we're here for this hour meeting we're here for now we get to our practice you reluctant for two our practice and then this off back to be introduced in.
