Coach other one of UCLA impressive in a lot of ways maybe none more than the fact that the opening drive when UCLA had some momentum. You guys stopped him at the goal line and took the ball back completely the other way how big was that play in the first quarter when you -- He sailed -- -- -- Anytime you can get a goal line stand. It's it's a point swing because there's guaranteed points inside the five yard line. Our guys stopped them on the 11 half whatever was. And then the first order of business office is to reestablish field position to get that ball out of there. And what's the other thing is to try to get into rhythm and we jumped into our no huddle we've got the ball pacifist in the other red zone and then Nixon question and. Go back to the defense what was the difference down on the goal line as you Schilling looks so good on that march 10. Some sort of spiritual lift or something happened -- -- -- day. That last play what was the Jews on the defense. -- Stevens. Those guys in there they -- real physical they've they've reestablished questions -- pushed it back to personalize back and the quarterback was labeled by increasing it was a it was a great. Great swing of momentum our. And coming back the other way yeah offensively very efficient -- down the field and you went deep into the playbook a little bit and some trickery. Yeah we did we we knew that there was chants -- we are in the right on the right hats -- -- right part of the game. That we we can run a trick play and threw the ball back to answer. You throw has -- he's very nice arm. And there's going to be hands catch the ball really easily. I'd expect is going to be the case that it was. He's an amazing did you did you go back and watch you know the sports highlight shows just to see that catch. I saw it the first time they called -- complete. I was calling the first unless there is -- wanna -- -- went head case headed get a foot down we weren't moving on to the next play had a review it. And I have seen probably half dozen times a lot of confidence in your true freshman wide receiver drew -- to make a play like that. -- you've got a baseball background you know he's he's never been faced I think we've we've put him and he's upon return he's done -- good do things for so. There's not as -- And then as we. That drive culminated you have to look back and say which was the better one handed catch was -- hander was a -- cleaner in the end zone. Pennsylvania. Half but -- you know -- both were guys that. They're special players that do things that most people that can't do. -- players always had great body control Green and eye coordination. Over the basket his career thus far. But you know that we we trust him to be down on the field with people around. That from palpable. Thank you silly game did present a challenge that you expected in coming off the bye week you talked about tightening up in terms of efficiency -- and just taking care some of the little things. You see that throughout this entire in. I did what we are much better on third downs which which were which are big key for us to be who we are. To be able to run the ball and get to third and mediums and still convert those third against those guys to see. You know defensively. Usually put up great numbers and the ball we knew it was going to be challenged we didn't stop them but we slowed them down enough and hope they got them in the third downs that. And our defense and -- you know the field and outside of that one long run that wrong drive at the beginning of the game are people so strong rest of the day. -- numbers were written. If not spectacular just amazing and it's efficiency 23 point 73. Touchdowns was this his best came in the season. Yes his best game of the season but He played extremely well. But He directed traffic extremely well get him violent of getting us to the right place. And then played at a high level and I He was He was on from beginning for whatever reason. Kind of knew during warm ups thing you know this this putrid play. Saturday night sellout crowd with the all black uniforms mechanic energy was in that stadium and and you had to feel great your players had to feel great with. We're basically standing alone. It was exciting is excited warm ups and energy in the stadium that the fans were allowed their -- and they're into it. And our guys. Sheehan and perform well. One element in terms of the media and it's only number and it's only the media but you dropped a spot in the eight people and and what effect does that have an all have fun and your players and you have to mention at all. We don't talk about rankings we've we've I didn't know until somebody told me ten minutes ago. But for us we custard on how we play. And and our style of football and the fact that we do it takes to win football games. We don't go for stats we don't go for rankings you know you see other quarterbacks threw for about four yards and and you made a point to come to you know that in in your mind me because I don't care about this is I don't need to go back out so -- So for Obama much more times that's continue to run bonuses -- game and -- is that kind of unselfish play I think it helps us be good football team. Now you go back at it Colorado your first cut conference opportunity to play the Colorado buffaloes in the pac twelve the team that Stanford has that. Not seen since 1993. Off to one in four starts and they're struggling a little bit tell me a little bit. About what you expect from from Colorado and how you approach this game and certainly you don't want to let down anyway. Well there -- team that's steps -- any offense they're trying to be efficient they're trying to run. Constant they can they can have because of that kind of run born and -- -- bounces that can be. That's what we were in the same spot. You know eventually they're they're gonna get this thing rolling. House staff and a lot of guys on this staff that do great ever heard great job coaching. But I think -- on defense. There in the top five sacks in the nation. And they know how you have to passer and that's the beauty counts for his their particular player to that stands out and I'm on the film for Colorado I think the best thing about it is that they play great team defense. You know -- -- it's not just one guy. These days you do one -- his sack in the next play he'll be company covers -- the -- from Davis. What's internally you know the -- guys out covers. We've got a lot of lot of different guys have very similar bills and disease that can do after a variety of things was blitzing as well as well drop pass coverage. I don't know if comfortable is the right right word and it's -- comfortable stretch that you've been home since that trip to Tucson. Bye week two home games. What does that do for you certainly as your players get back to the school -- and and so forth and ask him yet. It's stabilizing environment. It was great it's it's been great and I just because when your home in two team. He had to retain we did that over the bye week against Connecticut. -- going to school getting their time their classes back. We've we've pushed our our practices back to the afternoon with a typically are so the -- get that rhythm. He's -- morning breakfast go to school practice go back in line and didn't resentment and hopefully that helps them Ivo. And if last Saturday was maybe the most efficient team you've played on both sides of the football. What He is went what is the focus this week in terms of improvement. The thing is that there's that the Colorado hopefuls present an entirely different set of problems -- -- did. So the -- is -- so locked in early in the week. We can't waste it in practice. We know this special office we know take care pastor. There -- other hitter quarterback who's gonna cost. Problems across the content -- -- fumbles etc. because it -- there play. So we've got to really focus in on our jobs make you run the ball efficiently. There third and longs and -- -- -- pass time as head coach David job as always good luck on Saturday thanks.
