12.1: MON/SJS pregame -- Brodie Brazil & Kevin Kurz
Thanks for checking us out -- CSN California dot com Brodie Brazil Kevin Kurz the Sharks -- just skated we've been inside the dressing room we had spoken to the players. What are they talking about right now Kevin scoring goals the Sharks three goals in their last nine periods of hockey certainly that's not going to cut it. How are -- gonna change. Well when you're having trouble on the scoreboard. The first thing you have to do is get in front of the net and maybe. Maybe score a goal efficient that it did McClellan and Brian Clovis said dirty goals to greasy goals we call them just use the same additives. So that's going to be one thing and then of course you look at the line changes were putting Cleland could -- back together with Marty -- Three guys that if I think combined. The last two teams have just one goal so. We're gonna look for something from now line tonight. And then you got Patrick Marleau has been on fire lately he's probably been the most scoreless two weeks back up which are important so you hope it doesn't affect Marleau in a negative way. The Montreal Canadians coming into town -- tonight of course they played last night in Anaheim did not play very well if 41 -- down there early game when it took a lot of penalties near the -- and only got three shots. In the third period so for the Sharks this could be a game where they like to take advantage of an opponent that let's just say. He's struggling to say the least right now. You had two teams coming in off a pretty poor efforts Montreal is in the -- lowly Anaheim who of course changed their head coach last night. So Montreal's not going to be very very happy in the and the Sharks of course are very happy -- thirteen nothing loss to LA today. We're terrible let's face it for for two periods that they didn't show any effort didn't show any emotion and that's why they end up losing that game to nothing so. We're gonna have to pretty upset teams can right the ship here tonight. The last thing is it's three coaching changes in the NHL this week the latest. Of course going down in Anaheim as you mentioned the ducks win last night but then they decide to let go of Randy Carlyle. In favor of Bruce Boudreau the former capitals coach Boudreau unemployed for what 48 hours. Initially connection here is that Boudreau and Todd McLellan. Go way back. Yet Todd was just tell us they were armies back in 88 in the minors I guess so. You know they both come along way in that time now other division rival so it's gonna add a little bit more to minority nasty bribery. Hopefully for the ducks of course hopefully for them they will get better but hopefully for Sharks fans no changes in the ducks still remain. At the bottom of that Pacific division all right thanks for check and it's out of course pregame live coming your way tonight as most sports net central and game 730 halves. And the Sharks over on Comcast sports net California we'll see -- there.
Brazil and Kurz come to you from inside HP Pavilion where they watched the Sharks morning skate and talked about the big storylines in Thursday's matchup.
