We are joined by one of the newer members of the Sacramento Kings Chuck Hayes joins us and and chuck why Sacramento why the kings what did you like about this save situation for you. Well I've always been -- kings are grown up there affirmative stars who wants a lot of local Davis. But in his business isn't afraid to see you know you wanna go somewhere where you really want it. We're a team they really appreciate your game. It's for me Sacramento was actually. -- fact that there's so -- almost like a bonus so it was like a one off to college. And I -- -- Houston now you know life is probably right back home here northern California. You could play a very important role for the kings organization you are known as a true professional around NBA circles there's no question about that they love you down in Houston. Now you've got a team that's got some young guys including DeMarcus Cousins another Kentucky guy. How much will you -- search some of the young guys and specifically DeMarcus Cousins. Well to -- this is a chance. In fact that this is my seventh year. I've been to the playoffs a few times and I've got experience alone and what other veterans have told me I'm trying to relate. It's in the best results of these young guys and do defender to Marcus is at Kentucky guy like myself. I've known him for the past couple years since his freshman year at Kentucky so we already had a relationship we've party. So without foundation so hopefully this right here playing together should become very easy. The kings and not make the playoffs in five years it was a 24 win team a year ago can this team some quality young talent. Can name Muster enough to maybe be considered a seven or eight seed. Can you guys and a 66 game season get it together quick I guess is the question. I think so I think they'll think we can. We love to have 82 games to them but just now was presented to us but -- 66 games isn't. There's very employment we get off to a great start you know the built ourselves. A little bit of margin there. Just in case if we hit a slump during the season or you know god forbid if we had that in your book. Because that is what happened is in this profession but they are very much muscle with 66 game season and now it is all a matter how quickly do we get our commissioner. You know -- there was a time in the early two thousands when Sacramento was the fun exciting elite team as one of the elites in the NBA but they've been off the radar for a while. Are are you -- -- you can maybe tell these young guys how good it could be in Sacramento LPG you also played there are times when the crowds were going crazy. That maybe you can tell these guys what's that town could be like if they are competitive. Home yeah I can spotter relayed a message. -- but made ground northern California in the late nineties early two thousands. I -- once against a -- beautiful -- from TVs during the crowd was well. And my first couple years and only there was still competitive. And a fan base here is incredible. So we can really get their excitement back into Sacramento. You get the excitement back in northern California. And and win some games in you we can make this. Don't this arena or how brilliant I noticed all curry if we get this to a place where. Other teams don't wanna come here to play. Tyreke Evans is without question one of the leaders in this club. He's very talented but the question is can he make his teammates better in the way he plays. If you can't I think he can he's he's just been tremendous talent than me. You came -- rookie of the year by default I mean toward this guy has done he's proven himself now as the leader and his team is better. I believe he can do that. I see our radio practice. I see that he's taken a little more initiative -- on the same -- as his there's other guards and wing man. So that they can -- some commissioner Goodell early in the Bears can't follow their lead then I think we can do a great team. What the new addition of Jimmer Fredette do for the kings what can heat add to this team.
