Happy boxing day thanks for checking us out here at CSN California dot com occurs in Brazil we have no clue really what. Boxing -- means it's the 26 of December that's all you really need to know. Is the Sharks and the Anaheim Ducks tonight here HP pavilion and an interesting matchup because these two teams have not seen each other while. Anaheim did very well against San Jose earlier this year but since then they've struggled. And they are two pretty good games early on Anaheim has. 094. In the last thirteen road games so that's obviously everybody knows they've really struggled in any coaching change. The Sharks didn't play poorly in this two games even though they lost and and when I asked him -- what do you remember from those two games instantly what he said I remember that we lost so clearly they're gonna remember those two games and you can get it trying to get. Back on track against a team that really has it. To say they struggle on the road would be an understatement. The ducks have not won on the road since. 227. That would be before Halloween at this stage. Long -- jinx sobriety but and I you had a great stat ought to make sure we get it on here. Hockey players. The NHL PA mandates that players take off the 24 125. -- December to celebrate Christmas but to those of you watching you may think thoughts on a long time that's the weekend for most of us but for these guys who are out here every single day. Boy they sure say it feels like a long time in the Sharks routed this morning for an extended period just to kind of get the juices flowing again what do you take away from coming back after 48 hours -- When you basically skated you've had haven't had more than one day off since the beginning of training camp. Having two days off does feel like a long time and and it was a little bit of an extended morning skate this morning. And it's still better than what the ducks to the box and fly in this morning and the players most players at this morning that I talked to that there they'd rather be at home and have to fly but I was little surprise has come close that it rather be on the road because. He he envisions them leaving the morning skate and going back to their their places and their families in the toys in the leftovers and whatnot so. I'm losing sings the that they kind of disagreed on that but I would I would more take this as. I would think if I was a player I'd rather be home I would want to fly and really break her team because that's a big thing is. These guys don't wanna break the routine of flying in the morning the game is not. Well for the San Jose Sharks it is a continuation of a homestand which is. Gone pretty well four for 44 wins that what generalizations what ways can you describe. The -- the Sharks have been playing because they've been getting wins and all different types of ways -- 72 win of course they had to grind out the other night as well in the shootout to win. Kind of things can you say about the way that this team has been playing here at home and bought two more home games here but the calendar yourself. Well they are playing more complete games from start to finish that that much this is for certain than when we heard what Todd -- that before that even when they lost those games on the road trip in. Colorado. And Chicago in Saint Louis. They were they were still playing well defensively so they wanted to make sure that they were playing well defensively the offense is gonna come from that and and things kind of slowly turn around. And it has and and and they're on a roll right now. -- -- the Sharks and the ducks it is McClellan going up against Bruce Boudreau for the first time this these two teams. Meet up in this brand new kind of reinvigorated. Rivalry will have a game -- at 730 on Comcast sports net California. Tune in at 7 o'clock four Sharks pregame live happy boxing day and that means. -- -- --
