They're CSN Bay Area that -- Dave -- hanging out with Bill Romanowski bill you've been down on this chart as a player -- number of times you played in eight conference championship games five Super Bowls. This is a pretty big stage how the 49ers go to respond -- one of the keys to get this win will start on the offense well. Offensively. You know the magnitude of this game of course the nerves everything about it they -- -- these games revolve around a quarterback. We all saw Alex Smith have such an amazing performance last week. But I really do believe the keys in this game offensively. That offensive line. How well are they gonna block that dominant defense of line of the New York Giants and also how well can establish our run game. They've got to be able to run the football against the New York Giants. We saw the New York Giants completely. Shut down -- Rodgers and company in Green Bay wee song the week before. Shut down Michael Turner. That off Matt's -- in the -- so how well as on offensive line at the 49ers can block. How lot bigger deal run the football and an Alex Smith we need you to have a perfect game manage. They game. Perfectly. And that's what it's going to be on offense and do we see a little bit more -- Smith running the football I think you know I like him getting out of the pocket utilize the strike you know one of his strengths is. His ability to move. Get him out of pocket bootlegs him we saw that big play where he scored that touchdown. You got a lot that we just don't want him to take any hits from me these big defense lineman of the Giants one thing he has middle do this year in addition to take care of the football is stay healthy that needs to continue. Defensively 49ers face and another very stiff test that the Giants offense is not the Saints. But it's not far from the -- it's pretty darn good well there this saying it's. But then make a run the football is really at the end of the day the Giants wanna be able to pound the football. You know Bradshaw and Jacobs. Home don't get in there you know 23 yards at a time give -- self. Third down in 33 down and for that makes it a lot easier so how well are we gonna do stop in Iran. I know like that match up for us. I really do for the 49ers but then the wild card is how are we gonna stop those three receivers. Knicks. Manningham and -- there is the key. And can you get Eli Manning they've been able to keep people off that offense while the Giants. You don't get near Eli Manning and when you do he gets frustrated he has the ability to throw interceptions. If you get him frustrated. So can you get to him can you stop their running game and then can stop those three. Wide receivers there is one other facet of the game as you well know that has been huge for the 49ers get here this year and that of course is special teams I got a -- film a little bit concerned the weather could neutralize. David Akers a little bit his range she's been great from beyond fifty yards this year they may have to shorten the range a little bit if it's sloppy field. And Ted dean both 49ers haven't set anything officially word I'm here not us out of 49ers headquarters in Santa Clara is that it's not looking good for him to play in this game. That could put a lot of pressure on Kyle Williams in the return game you know great point -- to me it is one of those unsung heroes and of course. Akers has been DM VP of this football team as we've heard in the press conference now. Bottom line is that is gonna shorten the field a little bit I they're gonna have to be able to get the ball to where if they have to kick field goals they're gonna have to be forty yards in though forty yard range I don't think it's gonna be 5055. Yard field goals I don't think we're going to be able to do that this week. -- somehow some way. Try to get help me. Yeah absolutely heartfelt thanks for the time and of course we are your -- for the 49ers throughout the post season run right here at CSN Bay Area dot com as wells on sports net central chronicle live. And everything else we got tough for a Comcast sports net Bay Area thanks for checking us out we'll see yeah a little bit later.
