I need -- joining us here on chronicle live presented by farmers insurance and you're just not a guy -- hang in -- like all the roars -- about a pro sports team and then they're gonna play it. You're a long time they -- how they get started on the die hard a's fan. Growing up with a single and single mom we we had to find fun activities that we're good activities and she got me to baseball young and it stuck to play in it but then just be an overall days fan was my life you know -- mean she. Stood down Trotter grabs we -- the ones who in the morning I mean she you know she you really got me into and so ever since then it doesn't matter we're going to bed. And die hard and that's what you -- be what a great influence and be able to do that -- hang around -- the parking lot need some of the players. What was that error by the way or some of the guys used to follow who is a one that you grew -- audobin. Oh man Canseco was was definitely big I was a catcher when I played so. Terry Steinbach com for him Mickey Templeton was somebody I analyze a lot you know I've played I was Mickey. A lot of days in the back yard. But -- yeah likes it I chased down I got the best autograph such -- down Canseco and red Ferrari with us to drive them. -- the Luis Polonia actually did not want to give me an autograph but it was my birthday and my mother. Through the magazine in the car and made him sign it I'm. It's that's love got yellow beautiful -- was awesome nobody ever since then I got three kids now. -- the wife and the kids it's it's a's baseball when it starts you know. When they talk about Padres are about the defense doesn't matter my -- it's it's too hard to call you know you have some teams that could. When everything in the spring training and then come out bomb yet some teams don't win -- spring training come out in the Giants weren't favored two years ago but the bottom line uses. We don't know what goes on a clubhouse you know more than me. But we don't know and I think Billie Jean and everyone knows that he's won the smartest in the game so I don't doubt them you know I really don't I think that they can that makes moves how good as you mile weeks the second -- My favorite when they said the -- we're going to be trading their potentially trading people last year. When I saw a CSN posted Billy said that he would not be having him on the trading block and actually was able to some I don't think that's -- the couple nights. So yes I was -- asleep and I'm happy that isn't very good -- -- up nobody gets -- first full season with this season I mean they're -- a lot of younger guys on this club and there's a chance for them to grow together did you like the fact that they got some young guys that can grow together I do I love it now I I hope they missed open that's good because -- I think the young talents I think they have a say a lot of heart every team has heart but I think that that -- ball club and that and that clubhouse always seems to be the players that leave. Seem to always make the same remark of that that ballclub was always it was fun clubhouse it was fun to -- your round. It was fun developing with those guys in the days. Are have always been good with development plan we know that they develop players great and so I don't think it'll be any different I'm I'm excited about how excited are you but you assess how to set the bar high for a very excited I didn't wanna set -- high I had senate I have to have today I hit a lot of excited about though is is the talk about the home runs and all the stuff that he can do is. All the line drive doubles and Hayden and I think that for me when I saw him vomit I was up 2 in the morning -- -- watching the games Japan of course. And I'm just seen the kind of contact he was Macon and I don't think he's gonna be like a lot of that a lot of other. People are saying about the 22025. Home runs thirty home runs are really think that you can post a higher batting average I think he can put up. Lead the team in doubles I think he could lead of course and RBIs and I think he can lead homers so. I'm very excited about him and see how he adapt to our baseball definitely your mom got you started taking me gains and -- you've got three little ones you're taken to games now the coliseum. Yeah it does show coming up this weekend yet Antioch. I have a show I'm going to be doing some us some of video shoot too little side video issue it's a mutiny in any -- go my Twitter FaceBook look it up. I love my local fans I love to be able to have him come out. And you know just like some players that have passion for the game that's what I do about sports and music you know it's not always about the money. Don't do a lot of areas shows a lot of fans I have around stay in a tour a lot of -- outside states most of the year so when I have one locally I -- have fans come hang out you know it's fueled the you know spend time organizing days since we're gonna again later in the season we're gonna update us some holidays what's going on there and owner at the real -- -- on Twitter yeah right -- -- -- -- -- about a all right on Wednesday thanks for joining don't recovers -- -- --
