I think Tony played at right tackle mostly Lester had seen him listed as a guard what do you see as his natural position you know then again. -- the one thing he has is that versatility and he's been a tough time you played some guard and Senior Bowl we know he can play today so. The bottom line is his versatility is almost for those to do a lot of things and it would help offense tremendously. We will probably take a look at my garden initially. Make sure you can play your employer world. Religion I would. Did what was the whole process that night game numbers -- it -- guys. And you as a whole experience and. It was extremely difficult. Agreed that this thing you know all the names. -- aboard. And does not like you. Ovals -- there especially when you get to the middle of the third. Coaches call them off the board so it was very hard to. The ones. To play that you like you know. Come off the board so. That's. But that's applaud. And put. -- you said from day one it when your turn came to pick your gonna go with the best player available at that position regardless of -- yes. Was attempting an -- for you Dennis. Being a defense of -- -- -- a lot of defensive guys that are on the board both your defensive guys to not look at the defensive side of the ball more with his first thing. There we looked office and motive. Throughout this month. We reminded them that we are defense and guess. So I'm knows talk to them. This is it but yet you know. Going into this thing we want to add depth to the entire. Team. Both sides of ball. And so he's doing that you can reach down. You can see him three rounds lower it's because. Of -- me. We want to make sure that we picked the right player. We go on the board and who we liked. Him so we wanted to this -- and that's what it is. Could you talk about. Your contacts you or yours you're study a of this player over the entire draft process. How did you come to get to know -- the young man. As a at all. You know throughout. He's always Thomas. You could make to call him and you get all the information. As much as possible. And we need. You know we go over all of that. You see him at sustainable. You see him it becomes kind. So in your processes. Calls to their coaches and you know it's so much information -- but that's that's what scouts do and that's what we do so we summon up. Here in April and in the weeks leading up to this -- this weekend. We discussed. Every player -- on the board. So when we when we put him on the board. We know what. Goes on is just a process of scouting. When we scouted him and -- yeah he was offensive tackle anchor of the guys who went in there they felt like -- completely -- so. We knew we had versatility and then when he was invited to the Senior Bowl yes we show that. -- Those coaches play them and you know in fact he plays from tackle to was he was that you play -- practice about it cause for we we knew. It just kind of confirmed. What Roscoe or where they can and so he grew on us you know we we continue to study them. And we we didn't -- we continual like. Enlighten -- more. That we know. Your vote for the best player available as you said. You must have expected that irksome was going to go a lot higher than he did when you guys had to pick out -- -- you. Were you surprised that he was there when when the Raiders picked. No it's always you know we felt like he was right around there so. -- fuels. Q if you lose first round in my mind and on and for sure what referral we had a chance you know he was dead I was on the board. You know -- third -- -- About -- we picked at the end of the third round. You know could have been very early in the fourth round -- am -- newcomer compensatory pick. So. At the end of the day. So it's hard to figure out who's gonna be -- on what team like you know certain type players but. We felt good about physical. -- did did it first to make a visit the facility. Now. Second question is did you. What's the draft -- yesterday. It's deathly quiet it was their phone calls whether opportunities to move up that team were trying to get you to move up or was it just pretty quiet. Watching. There was -- choir from the most part as far as contact with other teams. There was. It was an exciting around a month. Theo the stats well. Cause we. We went through today is. Who gonna pick. So. It was a it was a nice gesture Herschel. But. No is. Today was. -- more anticipation. But no we had no ammunition. No. No calls coming in -- all for us. Their first round here. Reggie give us a quick scouting report on -- from what what were the characteristics that really jumped out to you. The one thing that got football player. -- -- he's tough. He plays with great football intelligence he understands again. Theres a physical football player. Toss. That's what you'll you know he does he get a good. He's got good movement skills in those on uses hands. He's gonna help -- out front you know the coaches. I'm pretty sure where we'll be excited once he gives him cause he's on the stove goes he's he's a football player. To see how much experience them blocking you talked a lot others. Were. Was you know we -- -- and you know those with while total open offense. In this. -- -- -- -- College Dolphins of these days. Trying to figure out this. -- deal could overcome. Displaying that you can still wouldn't know -- and I felt it. But that doesn't he understands blocking him and any kind of -- here he'll fit in he's one of those guys are. You know he is such as you. Smart football player. So whatever. Calls policy calls we have doing. He would give it. No longer this year.
