Welcome and I am here goes more the Golden State Warriors and our offseason but in the end -- there is no offseason because they are now. In the process of figured out what to do their four draft picks in the 2012 -- sucked a couple of guys -- -- the warrior colors and know what it's like to go through this process from the players perspective Charles Jenkins directly to my left Chris -- off to his left let's talk a little bit about being in the NBA and last year go through the process. When you guys had do this what we need as a player won't -- guys going through. Knowing that all these guys around you guys as players. It is tough you know. He's definitely a distant from it Yates. As far as we were. -- -- offseason of benefit that Tom has nothing you can do that makes the period that kids who have been different analysts quotes from. Game that was it touches for me after a while struggling to those were part of the the thing is about compete and I would top off your second round pick that you came through the undrafted -- how much different is that because I'm assuming you still had to go to work outs and then to sit and wait is another process to go through. Knew from his little different -- you know I didn't deserve this so is that possibly that and expect -- Newman and be called on draft night. And when -- wasn't you know I look at my -- got a little more work to do and I'm in I options overseas but. Not talk to my agent knows best community know try to come up through DB yeah. No stands facing just continue to work on my game because I felt like at the time know that some margin wasn't ready I was ready or. No my game really where -- hit it wasn't where I wanted to so you know to go receive double B put right into a season not necessarily. Didn't work my game somewhere this off like -- close to here. Notre try to make -- -- he -- -- going trying to tell would have seen me you know come up to review which could not do it kind of worked our form. You know the Warriors have a would you advise some young guys who had good enough game but needed more seasoning at the dealings in the -- Home these guys feel. Good omen though a good place to start in on the do you use got a lot of guys that into play and we are guys that are really as far as to be in the B yeah. And NBA and is a good lead millionaire guys that they play hard every night that. You know when I was -- of indeed big -- that there was actually just as competitive as you know some of the night in Oakland on and do those so. Not think you'll be good enough for some kids selected game isn't. You know where they wanted to be but they've got a chance to -- and -- to do we because -- always watching you know. Teams in general managers always -- and watch -- much every game is always -- -- and so. I think will be good. I -- talk about your first year in the NBA your first year you expected to be back up to step curry but he goes down on the ankle injuries and by the end of the year. You're the regular starter for this team so what was at first year experience like for -- and yet. And it was tough you know. And gave me definitely different from Carl -- that he's just I learned that first in training camp so. And they lose all about you know preparation I think that a great job coming -- with the coaches -- my game. Partisan games as it was excellent opportunities -- needed him flown out a couple of plays well. Think I did it and try to do that you know I was going to try to see Nolan did that successfully this. How I was budget. How different is the NBA how different is it for you guys to come from a situation work. They've played in college you're comfortable you're a star there but then and you watch the NBA every day how different is it to walk and can't try to play against those guys. I mean first going cannot understand that you know they're Vernon just like you did because you walk in his seat. You know do you mean you're in Orange Bowl or some mileage that. They've been in your shoes so you still very gardens are reported so will it disallowed differences because he's strong he's a stronger you submit stronger in their body -- and everybody or. You've been -- -- it you know coaches go through and everybody looked to work. Know kind of like starting at the bottom and are you really got to work your way up north and really work. Every single day because some guys have been actually went to some guys you have to work everyday working example work when he -- so. Most a major major difference than -- What are the Warriors really have to work on in the off season what area do you need to get better. There's -- -- know -- expert commentary for arrangement this year than I was and it was for the flaws well -- and anyway it's a capable of more and I'll work on you know offhand that tradition around the basket. Players always have to get better Chris what are the Warriors city you know we're in my jump shot no room bar room and continue so now. Some time since it moved to France. And the best way to get better. Going to camps Warriors summer basketball camps are going to be going ID go to Warriors dot com and find all the information but. Not only is it great to know that the war is to put in -- time getting out into the community. You guys are gonna make you know appearances there throughout the summer you know what your schedule like you get out there are not help the kids learn the game. Yeah I'll be out there on Monday but the facts in next woman is evident there to be the case and so is that we -- I was always against it on the camps so. And be good to have severe and -- and try to teach them some. And make sure you go to Warriors dot com because they're going to be sites all throughout San Francisco Oakland east face south say they're all over the place. You enjoy going to camps and your kid did that help you become an NBA player. It is you know it is going camp's always sending guys that you look up to use him on TV. And actually -- Q did you know -- -- -- you pretended to their players their favorite players pretend that you you know Michael Jordan some island at a camp you worded jerseys -- good stuff like that so. It's kind of excited to be another sign of actually sad you know young kids messing working with a man. Knowing that they kind of mimic try to -- what you do on the court is pretty exciting and it's a blessing you know to do see it. And for these kids going to camp you think these guys in the pros they don't have to go to camping at some called summer league in Vegas this year it's just like camp it's a condensed period where they learn more about the game that's for Charles Jenkins Chris Wright are gonna become better players will Seymour on the wore your uniform. Next year guys thanks for joining us on chronicle live and thanks to get out in the community and do good things things haven't. Conclusion.
