Kids in from underserved communities around that around our region are able play baseball thanks to junior Giants. And the stretch drive is our big annual campaign to try to get everybody involved. This year we have a day a special benefit. Fifty dollar contribution and you get a Buster Posey Bobble head. And then there's contribution levels above including and honored -- 4400 dollars and the rumor as you get a McCovey Jersey for 4400 dollars autograph not that -- Wall that is a deal actually and I know you can go to JR Giants dot org. For a lot more information on this particular program but it starts on the 28 that goes through July 1 so Willie. I wanna ask you just how important is it to you. To have your name attached to this very successful program at the Giants have been doing with the community and for the kids. Well it means a lot to me and I'm very excited that Larry -- ultimate -- and ask me that the anticipated and it's because. You know it means a lot to me to raise funds for the do you guys because I know how much it is. But -- -- -- you know -- bonds food get the equipment and get the baseball bills and they use the play on. I know what our -- I didn't have things like that so I'm excited that I can help raise money to help help to do to guys. And Larry when you look at his program the fourth annual junior giant stretch drive you know it's been successful. Any time they continues along the way. Pebble when you look at this what was the Genesis of it where was the beginnings of this and how did you guys come up with the idea that you needed to do something to have your great fans become more -- these communities. Well you know Jim and I really four years ago we have annual fund raisers for the Giants to -- 85 and where the proceeds go to the junior Giants have the play ball actually had -- -- -- and -- in Willie's been involved in those. But we thought you know what do we do during the season where fans are watching the games and get them the broader fan involved. And again it's not we we love the big contributions for the fifty dollar contribution. Or less -- allow everybody get involved in four years ago we said to ourselves who's the perfect representative. Of Giants baseball and all the Giants baseball in junior Giants baseball needs to people and it's Willie McCovey. Who is perhaps the most beloved giant of the mall. Certainly in San Francisco Giants history he is -- he's up there as I've probably number one. And we have the Willie Mac award that symbolizes. Contribution. On the field and in the clubhouse every year. I'm most inspirational giant and that's it Willie's name so Willie was a perfect person to. You he connected with that had to put his name on it and he gladly agreed to do it for years ago it's been a -- program last year. How we set a record over 280000. Dollars went to junior Giants -- result of this stretch drive. So thank you stretch and that it's been it's been a wonderful wonderful run and we just look around look to build it every year. And Willie you know when you look at this last -- I was lucky enough to be a part of some of the crew from Comcast sports net who came out to a ballgame and answered some phones. -- those very fun nights and a lot of fans still wanna get involved. With the Giants organization and help in the kids but I know you also help out and enlisting some other former -- it's great to see the current Giants do in this. But there are always some former Giants they get involved in -- last he was involved and we had -- blew out here. Any chance for -- some good maybe some other guys what they think about a program like this of your former teammates maybe. Well you know every year we set a goal of how much we want parades.
