Let's pick it up -- Jamie yet tell. Says he's going to London with the Olympic team and well let's let's get -- your idea what you're trying to do at the Olympic trials Jamie were you in that to win the event or really just trying to make the team to get to London first. Wells thinking god. And then praying that I would make the team I wasn't really kind of think in I was going win you know that was just kind of a blessing on top of everything. So my my taxes it was this job for the three people left. While you were in a previous Olympic Games back in 2004 the Athens Games you finished fourth there what did you learn and that experience. I think. The main thing that I learned was. That you know as long as you go there and do your best. No matter what happens your winner so for me was kind of bittersweet because the -- my personal best there. And then -- missed out on in the medals second third and fourth we don't have the same -- 78. And so. It was very bittersweet for me so I think the biggest thing that I learned was in on the matter where I know that you went and did your best. And that's -- -- Four years ago while there was thought that you had a chance to qualify you didn't get the qualifying height to make it to Beijing. How much he used that as motivation for this time around. Those -- big motivation you know I was pretty upset that. You know that you're they decide to -- a new rule which was you cannot have that you don't have those Olympic a standard viability trials that you and coming team. And you know I was well I end up getting second place at the Olympic trials. And then jump an 876 days later the really tough on me in and night I made a lot of friends and USA track and field and you know whats -- and means I felt like he's got -- -- back -- come -- be on the team that went to an arbitration for. And to really just plead my case and fight to be on the team and of losing but I think it was a blessing in there is because I think my first acting class and I've been acting ever since. We're gonna get to acting it just the second house train going for this year's Olympics and what -- the heights that -- hit right now on training. That. Trees along great are still in great shape and the heights in practice -- of that -- practice so you can jump around 77 to a practice. So as -- of them doing that I know pretty much ready. All right 78 was the personal pledge the best he talked about that in Athens. Is that what it's gonna take to win gold this time around in London. Well typically -- and looking at the statistics to 36 and usually the market wins. And that's 783 quarters. I don't know this one you know I statistics speak a -- some definitely looking at that high. You know clear that -- if it's that clean and clear day but as far as I know right now it's going to be raining so that's gonna put a damper on a lot of the high jumpers. And then jumping -- so communicated. It I don't know what it can be I think in in Helsinki in 2005. World championships were won at 232 with a 77 in a quarter. And that was a very -- me so I think. You could be like that but I guess I don't know. Here's Sacramento area guy Valley High School -- city college and get a chance to choose between 2 schools eastern Michigan and count. You chose eastern Michigan yeah what tilted the bar that way yeah. Well I was graduating in mid semester. -- that we have a great program great school have been great to get a degree from cal. But they want me away so -- into the Smith to the false -- then of giving their spouses to another guy. Who has a great athlete as well he's going to be at the state Newton and junior college. So I had student loans that it really wanna wait around this good research on his permit him out of the head of the business college. My -- kind of put it to me like this is today you know either you can be a big fish in the small pond they can be a small part a small fish in a big part. And kind of equate into schools like bad mouth like what I don't wanna be a big fish in the small -- felt kind of going eastern Michigan. Now it ended up working out for your -- of the Olympic Games you mentioned at me. How serious are you about that as a future career do you have anything coming out. Yeah oh yeah I'm very serious about my acting has been going great been in five feature films currently have a film on -- called encounter. -- wants right now I'm producing my own web series called blood Brothers it's urban crime drama. We just put the trailer up probably about a month ago. And it's it's going really great and I'm encouraged and everybody take -- blue -- with series dot com. And also if you wanna follow me you know going to Olympic Games take out Jami have a dot com among FaceBook and Twitter. I looked at both today but I don't want the right thing and best of luck and acting.
