He he is frustrated but he does like that we're frustrated. And you know he was asked do you. Are you frustrated asking answering these questions -- injuries sustained injuries are part of the game of football and injuries or news and certainly it's news because Michael Crabtree. When you think about his pre seasons with the 49ers he's yet to play an exhibition game I don't know peace in a play. Friday night certainly he does. It's not going to be very much he totally yeah he. If he's ready to play things he'll he'll play it but he said that he's not sure that the first. Unit is gonna play much and that's one thing we know Michael Crabtree is a first team wide receiver he's gonna be a starter back in the team. Put out the depth chart -- earlier this week it was Michael Crabtree starting at one spot and then the other spot was three. -- Wars are either is hit it either. Randy Moss or Mario Manningham or -- again so. Michael got he's the starter don't know if that exhibition his first exhibition game where there will be this week or next week. And Greg Roman offensive coordinator speaking media this week is well and said that coaches have not decided how much. The ones twos or threes -- played Friday against the Vikings got to be more. Made right before game time he ended the day before and I really don't expect them to play match because last year. But the pre season opener with little preparation time contact -- cannot hire a lot of the backups and rookies. Got most of the game action and I expect to see more of the same this time it's -- has more than anything -- to see how those players have progressed to that they have behind mr. I think the other wide receivers you'll behind Crabtree advise them it means you mention I think those guys and see a lot of playing time while Michael James wasn't out at practice. On Tuesday so -- now his status for that first game is is -- -- He's a guy that -- in the exhibition season because an exercise. In and the number of things that he can do house to get it it -- -- How's it speed of the speed was a blur up there -- again is it still going to be like that at this level where the defenders are are so fast so. You know there's a lot of guys that. That can use this opportunity to bolster their stock. It's certainly one of the guys we saw on Tuesday that I thought he really did did practice. Probably the best practice I've seen him have AJ Jenkins and the first round draft pick I would expect him to get a lot of playing time. Avery how much do you think though that we'll see Josh Johnson is -- compared to con cap for -- because just Johnson getting a lot of playing time on Tuesday. Didn't seem very sharp -- that beautiful ball. But it certainly seemed like he was gone for the strike Estes be heaters are yet you know he does Josh Johnson -- in the one on one drills with a clean pocket nobody on the team was a better ball that. He does but certainly on in the eleven on eleven drills red zone drills and he really you know a lot of his -- got away from him. I would think that there's an opportunity here for the 49ers to CA lot of Colin -- He's the one guy that I think that that can really use this. Exhibition season certainly not to springboard him into contention for a starting job but just for the -- can have some semblance. Of security that their backup can go into the game Josh Johnson remember he's five year pro he's ready to. Through four exhibition seasons in his career. This is the first real offseason to call it happening -- that and a and the second year. Of an exhibition year. I think they have to give him far and away the most playing time of any of the starting quarter of the need to quarterbacks. For the 49ers in the exhibition season Alex Smith included I -- it's got to be happening at the top of this. That list as far as number passes attempted. Obviously this is the key time for you to get your backups prepared and as you mentioned. Played very well there are no questions whether Andy Dalton is the starting quarterback Italy. -- -- take it one spot ahead of it there are still questions. And maybe capita doesn't have questions about himself whether he can do it maybe he has the confidence he can but I think yes proved to a lot of people. That that he's capable of doing this so. There's going to be competition the one guy that we're not talking about and you don't sleep on this guy's got Bulls team. And he's he doesn't have the physical tools as the other three quarterbacks but these heady. I think he would do very good job moving that the team let you know that the issue with him dead Kenny make those passes outside the numbers at him a quarterback -- -- we know that happening as the arm. We know they just Johnson as the arm. It's going to be it's going to be it's just I think happening those and as the favorite to hold -- -- the job I think he'll emerge from the exhibition season as the number two quarterback will be -- Seem to see how much time the veterans who -- new to this team like a Brandon Jacobs and Mario Manningham. Get with this first team offense as well or second team offense how much were they get still to be determined but what would you. Expect because you wanna see how they fit in this system even though they are veterans of the game and they really don't mean team experiences. I think -- kind of know what they have in Manningham you know I think that they figure that he's got to be one of the top three receivers. So. And I think he's shown enough on the practice field that. You know they they don't have to see a whole lot from him but celebrating Jacob -- he's fighting for roster spot in you look out there and you look at the roster you see. You know where guys could fit. Yeah I mean I would expect to see Brandon Jacobs -- win a job. But with the France but. It's not a given I think he's got a little bit to prove and he's got to be able to say to the 49ers look. When you give me the ball short yardage situations. I'm going to be money in the bank because. In order for another running back Patrick and -- hundred in this mix and Michael James. Jacobs of course. Your -- when those guys on the field that need to take -- Frank Gore off the field and those guys have to prove that. Yes you wanna give -- course restaurant game but. The Eagles losing thing. When frank -- off the field that's what Brandon Jacobs has to prove -- prove that he can he can step in and there's specific role that he can sell with him with the 49ers. It's -- -- big game for Anthony Dixon for some of the same reasons what kind of role can he feel if if Frank Gore is off the field and also you know Kendall honor. We know he's not there as well. Another player is drying all the attention -- wrap it up with this because everyone wants to see. Is Randy Moss and -- seen him in game action a lot of national media here this week because they wanna see is it which Randy Moss is going to be there. I don't expect him to get much playing time on Friday that you know they've got to try to -- sometimes -- -- -- get at least a few plays. Yeah I think you'll get a few plays that I mean I wouldn't expect rain -- to it teared up in the exhibition season you might yet.
