Raiders fullback Marcel Reece Marcel for his side now that you guys are back here. In the compound mean -- feel more businesslike demeanor -- wine country. I don't listen more business like this is more of you know you feel like -- -- -- long -- you selected in the season and and that's what is all about you get to try to catch a grind no matter what and we always -- they have relayed the training camp -- after -- was a beautiful city they take care -- -- out there. But you know we ready get back down -- the end and happy to be here in great -- this season. And today -- mean the first day of cuts discovered of Obama can just get rid of his kind of -- to save at twelve guys are no longer with the team do you feel that that sense of urgency now that the first round of cuts is this happened in. And by Friday afternoon you get that to be down at 53 man roster. When he noticed I think that's the hardest part. You know that's the first to September is the hardest part of the season most time. Because you did you know you get close to guys you know get really really close especially running back room in -- would get really close and all the -- nose for the visit someone has to go. I can't keep everyone but. But as far as as far as the guys that are here you just feel that sense of you do feel a sense of urgency just think you really didn't get to it -- -- really for Monday night. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Rob Martell defense of guys you -- my first offensive guy. -- five new feeling knew -- new schemes totally from the offensive side defense aside. Some would say though that you don't really need to fix something that's not broken and what you guys are able to do offensively last year. Why even mess with that is is that kind of the sense or you get excited about this new version of West Coast offense that Greg -- is bring an end. -- I think he's said the right term in new version we're not completely changing anything. You know everyone just -- a little more comfortable with each other -- -- more acclimated to different terminology and to what Coste never really wants. And his philosophy of the game. I really just paying. More attention to detail and trying to make more big plays in the best the world had to do doesn't get paid to do to make big plays. And his three seasons he can really. Glean from it what you want I guess but. You obviously -- consider one of the more dynamic fullbacks only for your ability to catch passes. Run the ball block your converted wide receiver how bad it can convert from wide receiver a fullback is one of the bigger mysteries I think in the NFL. But you have no touches yet in the pre season is that's something that that is. And open body yours it just you guys are going that Vanilla -- -- Carson Palmer read this you don't wanna show the whole playbook and put that on film but you gotta get some run into. No question I don't mess around with a bunch you know every game you don't -- together -- -- -- -- -- gotta -- -- Yeah I was losing I don't worry about it too much in and you always you know what takes so presumably -- -- guys -- take with a grain of -- And you know intercepted just trying to make plays in and working what we need to work on. You know. Carson guys are are really close we have great chemistry and -- is our time in my number gets called to revoke -- make the play. You're Southern California guy grew up in Inglewood move in the shadow of the great western perform in this southern everyone and ask you forever how does a kid who grew up. In the shadow of the great western forum the showtime Lakers. Root for the Celtics. Millwood who I can get this question back home all the time and get a hard time from everybody all of them everybody. But who knows what you come. Paul fears grew up right down to choose from where where I grew up bat in Inglewood and Kevin Garnett has been my second favorite player of all time. And you know to present for you as history may KG is Tesla model my game after and how -- Flynn and then you know he's the best. So I guess he's the hometown guy Paul Pierce -- -- that's kind of understandable for the Laker fans but. But also being an ultimate fighting kind of guy too I mean you -- you see your high school this very high school. Which is read the same everywhere Dan Henderson is from. What we thought -- a hole -- about Anderson and enabled us to fight and then Jones and none I can take the other finally UB USC and mixed martial -- got. I'm used you know you'll see guys think is old boat -- -- good competition having the best fight out there and I think whatever the best -- out -- that -- needs to happen you know it's kind of like you know when you and I talk about Pacquiao Mayweather I think the best -- needs to happen. And down hopefully gets figured out just for the fans in info sport a -- -- -- I think that's me to have for the fans and sport. -- -- together I mean really guys in animals thank you and I guess I think that half. But but as far as you've grown up now suddenly we're where you're raider fan also going over his or were they gone by that point now. Who Jose I was the best one guy I was around the culture of the raider nation knows you know because he Nelson West Coast guy in LA. -- -- where that's what I wore. He -- and everybody -- so I didn't really pay too much attention to football but I guess is as a -- look. And lastly about this this building here in Alameda. You were riding -- an undrafted free -- really a street free agent became an inch and a guy that in and you know. All truth be told her I voted for you for the pro for the all pro. Two years ago how does a guy go from being a street free agent. Take into getting all pro votes -- mean against seen as little more dynamic pulled actually. Just work you know I'm out here grinding every day. I love my teammates and I love this game as -- love to play I love competition and that won't do it being. It takes for the senior win in to make plays out there and you know us to -- in my entire life they know that's never been easy and you know makes it makes it worth it when it comes. And he still fill us if you still feel the presence of about -- there is you it's kinda prototypical guys -- guided Al Davis kind of find. And then do things on the field. Always love them always filled film -- to be here never you know go away from me and I don't always let them know my address my career dedicate them. He had more efficient -- news is even myself sometimes. You know maybe this is.
