Having out that -- -- -- the three hours facility at San Francisco travels to Minnesota for week three and a healthy and she played the Vikings in this statement perhaps you by -- size and -- Campbell California thanks so much to them. And of course the big topic of conversation around here is Alex Smith addressing the media with the big huge -- Across his name is very similar to the one left tackle Jess Daley has it it's a very Robin son did it at the end of the game against Detroit. But what's concerning maybe not about business for say but is it that. Just keeps breaking open -- bleeding you know what the same thing to have an Alex now they're going up against the defense different. Is known for getting to the quarterback yeah did very gory start to this management if he's segment talking about. Bloody noses -- yeah I mean Alex Smith as a quarterback -- Dixon heads you know he's he's exactly seven times already this season sacked 44 times last year so. Yeah I think the there's more. Emphasis on the offensive line to protect him to protect you quarterbacks nose you. Seven back. Six minutes in the league this year that I sit. Yeah he's a great attitude about is that I'm not as worried about sacks and didn't really watch a lot of film Aaron Rodgers and that is longer able to make. Plays on your feet keep -- the the play alive again always wanted to give the ball away or get rid of it and that's something that he's I think that sometimes is that is not the worst thing. In the world but of course to the head coach is concerned about is injury. Yeah well I think you'll think about the sacks -- sacks -- her -- six hits on the quarterback as a quarterback's throwing that the ball flutters up there and an interception. -- had. Alex Smith has managed to avoid death and he seems to big games Sunday night after he threw from a pretty clean pocket most of the game. It really the I. Tabulated on CSN Bay Area dot com eleven intercept it and completions in that game. And really only one was an untouchable past Els won and he threw away to avoid it -- -- five yard. Loss with a bad snaps up. He's done such a good job of taking the sack when he passed still. Getting rid of the ball when he has to -- I think back in the game against the the Packers were Aaron Rodgers did not take as a -- Before the end of the first half and it costs three points allowed corners enough time to -- Danica had six yard field goals. -- Alex Smith has certainly got a lot wiser. I don't think you see him taking huge hits like he did even earlier in his career so. I can't really think they need. You know really. Home jarring hit that he's taken this season. Line has ground not only figured it really that literally because you see him bringing in Leonard Davis is that extra. Blocker as a tight ends and when they go up against Jared Allen and Kevin Williams and that Vikings defensive -- it will be very different offensive linemen and one that just based attorney. -- and it'll be a similar challenge though I mean you look at. What did Joseph Staley is going to be the old man up on on Jared Allen -- Joseph Staley will be -- getting everybody is going to -- keep an eye on. He struggled at times against Clay Matthews against the Packers really doubted with a very strong showing. Against Kyle Vanden -- and alliance and talked about it a lot of afterward we'll this is another huge. Teeth or for Joseph Staley going up against Jared Allen and allowed environment metrodome so. I think about this 49ers opening the season. With three games I think different wrap up the NFC north -- this victory. -- -- And then going to the 49ers defense at -- I mean we might see more of either so -- finally in the nose tackle them finally paid those you still cannot argue about and ended -- -- that -- just needed Adrian Peterson. Back in the fold and miss that much time getting crazy on his back after. I'm not to miss two games basically game three games yet -- itself. We -- think about what the 49ers are going to be doing on defense they're going to be playing a lot of their base defense because the Vikings. Made it abundantly clear when we talked to Leslie Frazier. -- -- is an accomplished all they want to run the football they want to establish the run. While the Packers. Never -- establish the run the Lions the same thanks to the forty hours at 56 defensive backs on the field against the Packers. They had five defensive backs on the on the field for most of the game against. The Lions in the amazing thing is the party as defense. Would still shut down those teams running attacks of this game. Of the Vikings are gonna have their base personnel out that the partners in a match and with their base personnel Isaac Sopoaga who was. He played what it doesn't snaps in the first two games combined will be out there on the field it'll be a great match up. Against a team that really is good in shutting up about setting down the run and he did it right. The only two defense alignment really. In the first two games now it's gonna be strength against strength and the Vikings again try to pound the ball where it matters. I don't know where else can be a team is a team that can be run on about. Receiver and obviously the green has seen some great receivers great quarterbacks in his first two games. -- -- -- -- With that. Combination and with Adrian Peterson brings a different element only on offense on specialty now he he's and he's a big play guy in the branch has done a good job for the most part of limiting the big play I think they're gonna try to be. -- -- I mean I think they're gonna make him work to get off the line of scrimmage and they don't let the things Carlos Rogers in studying other quarterbacks has really discovered is that. You don't allow. Thank Alley brawl Revis is very good at making a guy work in all three phases of the around the beginning the middle in. And the the forties cornerbacks don't want guys just get a free release to hit -- so that they don't have to work at that beginning part of Iraq well. I think the forums are gonna take every opportunity to get it on to get a body on Percy Harvey and whether it he's coming across the middle. -- there's Navarro Bowman Patrick Willis can stick his shoulder into -- so they're gonna make him work and I think it's going to be tough for. For Percy Harvey is to be tougher -- entire Vikings offense with an improved. Chris potter -- back to really get much going against 49ers. Very much of the Christian on -- that -- he's been very accurate through two games very efficient as well the last time the 49ers were in Minnesota 2009. Brett -- the last play of the game one at that game I still remember seeing on the -- right next to the -- his deflated when moment because. Minnesota was down and then the viking -- erected -- it was so loud. Inside that stadium and I had a chance to ask Justin Smith yeah it's been awhile BS have been back there but it plays like that. Come back to be sticking your head. Saying -- we need to come out of here with a win because you know the 49ers have played -- -- recently -- still another one of the places they haven't won it for 45 straight games confidence and that's a tough place of. Play in Newport area -- here very about plays and usually feel pretty good team not so much anymore. Yeah I think Kansas City is also spot this given before you essence of difficulty through the years so. You know even though it it pops up on the schedule as it as a game obviously the -- should win. I don't think I don't get this into anybody's taking anything I mean there's a lot of really good professional guys in that locker room. Guy like Patrick Wilson just Smith and everybody on offense you know starting with Alex Smith I don't think there spinning in less time. You know that they they have their routine that they're gonna prepare the same way for every opponent so. You know I know they talk to chatter outside is all -- to be elected on and I just don't think there's. I don't I don't think that's even in their mindset that oh yeah we can mail it in this week and I think they prepare the same right now. Having said that Burress played very good football week why we assume they'd play. Just as well. If not better against alliance it's tough to maintain that kind of early season consistency so at some point. -- they're not gonna be sharp. He could -- this week. But I still think that they they have that kind of talent now where if they're not just. -- click on all cylinders and -- point. -- sharp they can still win a football game. Then of course after the end over the remaining Youngstown Ohio and get ready to face the Jets.
