Where -- head coach Mark Jackson entering his second season with the team in a different way entering this season you start on time you have your first training camp with a complete squad. How did you prepare for this year. Obviously last year very different. Would you set up your most excited about. Well got more talent. Total mum improving as a basketball team through the draft. Also make improper. Trades and free agent signing so we we. Added to the death of his basketball team. Jarrett Jack Carl Landry and rookie class so it's it's it's a fun time for us what most people is a time. I was looking forward to getting healthy. And moving forward but -- -- much improved basketball team than we were a year ago when you look at the names on that roster with style of basketball do you wanna play this season what is going to be his strength and this year's team. I think the greatest strength has the ability to play half court and full court. We have great shooting in Gray's scoring and also great to have. So the ability to rebound the basketball pushing in transition. And have a secondary offense we can play fast break basketball and -- slow down after. Play half court offense we have holes play and we also have weapons throughout perimeter and so we're a dangerous team all. Only four or world. Both sides and how very important factors you mentioned still don't know what Andrew Bogut status will be on opening day he's dating how does that change things for this team. We move forward we certainly are better basketball team. But that healthy Andrew Bogut but we've got to stay true process. He's working hard. Certainly -- and he was and his closest to being able to play him participate. At the same time we added that getting offense is doing in the draft and haven't. -- bat certainly gives us you know 37 footers. And then the college -- you play before in the what we need Andrew Bogut and we need him now. The biggest thing you mentioned when you spoke to me earlier is just about the culture change here with the team all of the players safe for wind here this summer working together in the off season. Where does that come from and who's most responsible for that culture change starting at the end of the day when those withdrawal. Well you have to respect leadership and and it changes in the request made. And I asked the guys have via via error it was going to be the team we expect to be we need guys making an investment. Throughout the course of the summer and they certainly have stepped up to the challenge. And give credit where is -- you can say it as a coach what you've got to have great leaders. So give them credit we we drafted rookies that who have grown men love of the game and -- great. And Harrison bonds has been very good. The ability to school compete defensively. Great slasher and finisher. He's going to guys won't play a lot for -- right way and now as you've you've been talking a lot about the depth on this team very excited to have that death. When you look at those players and what you can do it and how does that challenge you as a coach what's gonna be different for you this year well you you you know. Have the reach situations. And understand that. In the past maybe didn't have an option on the bench. Now we have options we have proven guys -- on the bench as ready to perform and you have to make the proper decisions whether to go with them. All ought to stick with what what what you have on the floor but it's going to be a much. Ball. Is going real lot more fun. Coaching this basketball team because ultimately in this league talents. Last year you predicted the class for this team he said he won't do that this year why. Because I think ultimately we had to. Make a statement on what we expected this group last year injuries the ball and we fell short. You -- your opponent and you move well I think this year we certainly have gotten better as a basketball team Predators ownership. -- modulate and also. Front office led by Bob Myers did a great job -- draft. Free agency trades making us better and give us a reasonably optimistic about this this season.
