Got me out coming back here at the meadowlands for the 49ers defense -- dominating performance 34 is you're the final score that with the Jets worst shutout loss since nineteen. 89 it's going to be happy plane ride home I mean they really is dominated Mark Sanchez Tim Tebow whatever the Jets throughout the 49ers had an answer for defensively. -- had a feeling after the 49ers play the way they did in Minnesota you know adjusting that Sydney and start on the Pacific coast at that the defense would have a chance to really play well. Because the Jets simply aren't very good in the running game isn't very good Shonn Greene came into this game the two point eight yard average. Mark Sanchez was a 32 ranked quarterback in the NFL as far as passer a completion. Percentage. And it really the -- lived up. To -- to the hype -- defense the defense played very well forcing four turnovers getting another. Blocked punt I was gonna say special teams and defense played pretty well special teams. You know but David Akers missing -- Google something that we don't expect. But is really -- a lights out performance by the defense and never got the feeling that the Jets were even close to scoring even when they got into the 25 yard lines up. You figured. Once they got that that second touch on the pretty nice when they went up seventeen nothing. That game was over in I think the Jets played that way in the 49ers it was like he is a feeding frenzy at that point. You notable performances of course all the snaps that all the Smith with two sacks -- was his first multi sack performance since last season else at the forced fumble. -- we had a shot golds and with a forced fumble Carlos Rogers with two fumble recoveries and one returned 51 yards for a touchdown is head to fumble recovery since 2009. -- an accident last time we had a fumble recovery but I think what stands out for me in this game we can talk about the defensive performance on offense though. -- the only get three points after the three turnovers by the defense and have you considered the one fumble -- -- -- -- it's -- because he got that he just dropping 'cause writers seem to be the right place at Atlanta defense that wasn't the -- -- -- and that was -- defense -- the offense only gained three points off those three defensive turnovers by the 49ers and I think that's something they're really have to change. Moving forward. Yeah it'll be interesting to see what they do now because you my first reaction when Alex Smith went out the game on third and six down by the goal line seven yard line. Was that. Do you just taking your starting quarterback off the field or in essence kind of a gimmick play. So now -- the foreigners hoping that a gimmick play like the play that -- takes the snap and there was no option there he was gonna it was a you know his sweet. And Frank -- got out there and got a nice block. I want it -- hoping that that'll sort of kick start everything -- what you get into the end zone things will start to fall in the place but later in the offense struggled with some things. As Alex -- out after the game. What's it like you know you're you're the starting quarterback you're going off the field for an important play in -- he said. We scored that's all that matters and that's what. Jim Harbaugh has tried to promote its that sort of selfless attitude and trying to get as many different guys. Into the game doing as many different things we've seen it with the offensive lineman. It was. With the back -- guys like did Leonard Davis and Daniel Kilgore we see was on the defense of guys like demarcus dobbs -- will take a walk through. Now you've seen it with a backup quarterback you're seeing wide receivers doing things that they've never done before. And so it'd if they found a good mix and I think they're able to work on some things. In Youngstown knowing that they were away there's going to be a lot more time to talk this stuff through and it workouts things has. Guys were going home if they're just going upstairs to the hotel rooms a lot more time to think about football against them. And I don't think Alex Smith is the only comic you said in that situation Frank Gore only averaged three yards to carry it 25 carries in this game but only 67 yards and I think that averages -- -- -- that. And we saw like you said Mario Manningham -- -- backfield on that reverse he had the longest rain played this game. Vernon Davis and has first catch until the third quarter they really were trying to feed the ball more to Delanie Walker he had a couple of drops -- completions -- -- -- the one reception. So it it really wasn't the regular hand there is a regular offense that we seen from the 49ers did -- nine different players to masses 240 tigers' dressing. And you look at -- you east you mention Vernon Davis you know it's a big play threat he really did it -- -- heated -- whole lot in the passing game -- Michael Crabtree is their top receiver. He didn't do a whole lot in the passing game Randy monster dual life you know at Darlington. To tell I didn't know these guys. Randy -- meet some decent blocks you know he's so he's helping out. But this was a game where I look at it like. The 49ers passing game as the running game because they spread the ball around in the running game. Like you would expect a good team to spread the ball around in the passing game are you a good passing team to to do that so I mean nine different guys. Picked -- yards on the ground. For the 49ers. And really -- -- only Anthony Dixon got into the game late in those yards were kind of you know couple a bit on the meaningless night so really eight. Eight guys that first half. And even you Bruce Miller had a carried down there so it was. It -- -- staying. Offensive game for the Hornets are gonna have to play better and that's that's pretty impressive and after 34 nothing win. You can say that you know there there are some areas there that they need to work on but what the defense again you know the defense was. Was what you expected to be against an offense that's really having troubles and you know -- I just noticed your you're ready media. I now I think -- that sympathetic. Well I don't I don't dress with any team colors in my you know I decide -- to have green eyes and -- be nice I just happened to Wear today in Williams they didn't call me I is very polite about it and said what's up with the green -- But after 34 and I think when I think you'll be wearing what -- logo -- -- -- -- -- -- -- flyers -- -- It's exactly I -- -- -- a few more things to worry about the color of what he's certainly worry about I think it worked out okay. 49ers return home now after the 34 -- nothing went.
