We're joined now by -- insider Casey Pratt from Detroit or should I say is lucky charm thank you you take the inside job and suddenly -- go back to the playoffs it's do right. I don't think so John Henry after always remind people that they lost nine era right after I started as well so it hasn't been all good for me. All right well you know the day's loss this season series in Detroit by the way how these two teams match up. Who has the advantage in your mind. You know it's really tough -- you have to look at the fact that. With the wildcard situation this year. The -- have to start the series in Detroit even though they have home field advantage sure the last three games will be in Oakland but if they get off to a Rocky start in Detroit that's going to be big problems for them and as you saw this whole series at the Texas Rangers the home crowd really gave the momentum. You know Melvin said he had a tipped his hat to the home crowd for the -- And that they were one of the main reasons why the a's were so successful against the Rangers and winning the west so I think that actually plays in Detroit's favor is that they can win those first two games. -- Verlander and a guy like Max Scherzer then the a's might be looking and a little bit of but trouble. When they get home to Oakland but. I think with the Tigers lineup they're very tough but DA's top to bottom are very good to Detroit Tigers up 34 you know Cabrera Prince Fielder which is a very difficult task but. I think top to bottom these are the better team and you know how they play -- I don't think they're gonna be too worried -- -- to Detroit to start this series final thank. What do you predict Bob Melvin is gonna send them down. I would have to go Jerry Parker in game one. He's tied for the team lead in wins. He hasn't faced the Tigers since may thirteenth the -- tour runs and that's start. I think -- Parker is the way to start the series plus TV on turn to pitch Tommy Malone could get an extra day of rest I could see him going in game two. -- you know this is official yet but that's what I'm thinking is gonna happen. And in game three or four you might see the surprise -- might go out with Brett Anderson who Bob Melvin said after the game. That that extra days off with this AL DS gives them the luxury of giving Anderson a little more time in Billy Beane told us that. Anderson's possibilities for this series are are hopeful hand he would not say unlikely he said likely as opposed. Unlikely for Brett Anderson pitching this series some think in game three or four could go to granderson. -- -- Wright Patterson would be huge and Casey -- of course you're always huge at today's inside thanks for the time.
