That may have coming back here Candlestick Park where the 49ers is dismay canceled the Buffalo Bills 45 to three but I guess depends upon who you ask the 49ers are that you're the bills that bad because all the bills -- -- -- just hit it -- -- -- performance. By Buffalo more so than it was a very good performance by the 49ers and we have to disagree I mean obviously the defense. The shut out last week against the Jets only three points allowed this game against Buffalo but it's offense this game. Belonged Alex Smith the perfect quarterback -- in a season high receptions. By Michael Crabtree Vernon Davis Kyle Williams's season high run by Frank -- mean you name every one on offense involved. Yeah I mean -- 621. Yards of total offense which is we were talking. That team record. And when -- famous on the offense is the reaction -- through the years and -- amazing and any team that famous game back in 1992 with the Buffalo Bills team right here the Buffalo Bills team at Jim Kelly of course the 49ers had Ron Amadon. And both teams are throwing the ball all over the place the partners at the team record on that it was like. 590 yards -- a lot of either team punted. And to think that this 49ers offense exceeded that with. Kariya matter who has a career days -- critic for Alex Smith as far as the regular season goes the most yards he's ever thrown for in a regular season game aren't in a victory should say I keep thinking that that game against the Saints he threw for over three -- Danny. Threw for 299 but. That that's definitely the best regular season game for Alex Smith. And the defense was what you expected to be the offense did everything they had the hundred yard rusher frank or 200 yard receivers and a 300 yard passer. Then other guys were knocking on the door and honored nearly got -- -- yards -- -- things. Does -- another dominant performance. And the dominant performance by the offensive line for the first time Alex Smith. Not sacked. This season in any game that hasn't happened since or Monday night victory over the Steelers last year and you're really stout against a very good bills defensive -- name wise and -- defensive lineman for Buffalo. I'm Mark Anderson Mario Williams Kyle Hines mean is it's amazing that they were able to get. Alex Smith really off. Yeah in I think with the foreigners did was -- Davis I mean this guy continues to mature and ended the times I was watching they weren't given him any help on Mario Williams now. He's right it's like protections to help policy will they give you never want to let us. An offensive tackle on the on an island like that repeatedly but sometimes it's ringing in over toward Davis that. This guy's really maturing into a very good office -- on fact it's our offensive line is playing very well I mean Alex Boone has been. Excuse the term he's been a boon for the for that 49ers offensive line it's so much -- a big upgrade over Adam Snyder from a year ago so. That offense is playing very well. Spreading the ball around in -- cap predict showing more and more stuff from the cap predict package and you got a funny story about. Yeah I was gonna say Anthony Davis let something slip through his -- he's he's very dry and he seems very understated that when you listen to and he says some very insightful funny things in -- these like. I got. His stuff he's -- because -- never -- came in the bills are calling it the Tebow package he's like. Now that's not Tebow that's -- verdict and Frank Gore even got mad -- he's much better -- -- And we see what cap for making do we can be under center white line up as a wide receiver he can take. You know at the end around -- they're -- him a variety of ways and he's so fast it really gives all opponents something to think about. You know what's interesting -- is and I know you talked to frank -- well after the game. Frank Gore for the first ever since he got here became the number one back he's been the focal point of that office and yeah he's he's gotten a lot of stats. But you could always outing on Patrick teams he felt like they'll win the world was -- -- show callers. Today he was so -- you mentioned that he was talking about -- -- just feel so young aces as I can honored at the dates of those guys keep me young. And he absolutely loves it to see. This offense be sold there and a guy like Colin -- predict comes in any lines up at receiver runs -- -- eighty takes a pitching you never know what's gonna happen. Big hats off goes to great Roman. Iowa phenomenal job he's done at just keeping the opposition. Yes and most of the times. Guessing the wildly wrong I mean when this offense is just every week you see it taking another step in and activists in the forums -- gonna put up. 600 yards. Offense every gamer even 400 yards but. Andy -- it's such a varied offense. That every week and I just wonder what are they gonna do this time. Two things I thought that one was really -- they agree but they get the quick strike right after the forced fumble by. Patrick Willis twenty yard touchdown or a semi Korea I -- that was. Turning point game the bills what were they doing they should just run out the clock they could have done it at a -- what derailed tended. Three instead Chan Gailey just an eight. Here it is take another touchdown and then after the interception by -- -- the 49ers go on nearly eight ER I eight minute drive excuse me in the third quarter last in the fourth quarters they were able to chew up clock and do it both ways. The negative though however early in the game a lot of penalties that cost of some big first down gained. And and that's and they didn't get to clean up because seven penalties this game eight begin before that's gonna cost him against the team. Yeah hey it it will and it's just think about the the plays are wiped out of there -- 41 yard pass to Crabtree but. United in Dallas on the chop block that -- yeah it is nit -- but hey you know that's what I'm sure they're going to be talking about a minute you know. Greg Roman said it near perfect performance by Alex Smith -- statistically. In the quarterback rating it's a perfect performance but he was eighteen to 22 that means that there were four plays that resulted in into -- Alex Smith. Five games. Eight touchdown passes one interception his yards per attempt which is the key number for quarterback is now up it's to seven point nine days because of this game. And a quarterback rating of 1088. So. Folks he might be the quarterback for awhile. August 36 and 351 time in his career he has a winning record. -- and I think I believe. Let's let's do the quick math here Jim Harbaugh thirteen fourteen. Victories last year. Yes board now eighteen. The previous two coaches Mike Nolan and Mike Singletary each at eighteen victory. All right it's incredible. I read -- talk a lot about his team maybe it more than them I don't think. We talked a lot about the defense before about obviously another great performance by them holding the bills only three points total I mean just like you say. About them I don't know what's next -- New York Giants and that's going to be a fun once or anything else you wanna add. Now you did -- Chris Colbert two and a very good job as the third quarterback extremely. Good job so he got it but yeah I use it as a kid. Team performance early in the game like I tweet something for -- coverage units are horrible. Days of NATO overstated that but if you're lucky dog he's nitpicking and coverage units need to sort of tighten their thing.
