Not only in baseball the term RBIs the status initiation associated with the hitters success. But there's also program by the same name aimed at increasing another type of statistic. It's called reviving baseball in the inner cities or RBIs for short promoting literacy and the history of the game are huge parts of the program. And Sharon Robinson is familiar with balls -- respect explains. Yeah he's only done this week. My dad yanks win. Promoting literacy and promoting the memory of her dad the man who broke baseball's color barrier she's comfortable in that role now. Now that she's comfortable with herself. Growing up having a famous father and you know there's a period in your life we don't wanna be associated you wanna just figure out who you are you know kind of separate from your your parents. And and I hit twenty years of working as a nurse midwife until the last sixteen years of work for Major League Baseball. And it's completely the opposite -- -- you know what everything I do it seems like isn't some way associated with my father and that is fine. Because I've had this period be sharing -- very proud to be able to share stories with kids that I think will help them. To do with their own life today and an Ashley Paris my father I see him more in terms of his character. And how he helped me develop as a person rob.
