Got me out many but here at the 49ers training facility in Santa -- once again we are brought to you by the size and be out of Campbell California. As we get ready for this game in Foxborough a very big -- -- the Patriots they're very quick tempo offense but the 49ers offense last two games. That's a quick pace not as a. Victim but now a lot of you in it. There's too. Trains of thought here that you can look at is it you know what they try to do a lot of times is make it -- that's commit. You know late in the in the play clock that the defense that you see is probably going to be a more accurate representation of the defense. At the snap the ball so there is that but also four time outs on offense all called but Jim Harbaugh most of them as a play clock was. You know -- got to the final seconds. They they got to clean that up is they got to be able to do a better job of managing their time outs and that there what I have look at fortunately it could be in inclement weather typing game and it -- company you. I'm of the opinion. That a bad weather game might actually help the 49ers because of 49ers running game is so good and so they can establish Frank Gore he made it sound like it was just so elementary you're supposed to like. Saved it's counterintuitive though if you go to another team's home where they had that whether they're used to playing about whether. For an answer right. They're almost built like a cold weather teamed -- with -- because they do the grind it -- -- you -- and you get -- did. The running game with Frank Gore he's so good in the line I think is really good in his running situations it. Alex Boone and Delanie Walker they are quite frank -- about executing up to the line of scrimmage it wasn't sent back. The fact that they were breaking the huddle. Late they were getting into the huddle late they were getting caught after plays discussing the -- say hey how -- Frankel got to get three yards on this -- fortified an -- like we can't be. Breaking down film in essence on the field we have to get back -- get going. And and they need to establish its running game and get this offensive. You know going. -- against this Patriots defense which. I know overall scoring very well but they're very getting takeaways forcing -- fumbles and interceptions and he's a lot better these past few games in the start of the season as it is they did today just -- those plays after Alex -- tackles. -- -- Exactly I ask Alex. Probably quietly and that -- frank. -- accuses Ellis and on occasion actually I think there's a play in Minnesota. And in this last night game against the Dolphins where frank it's one yards downfield and Boone trying to make a lot and it certainly -- to. His running back but not this is. To me this team. Falls squarely on. That's -- squarely on the shoulders. Of all happening in its upon the shoulders it's it's making the right decision you know Bill Belichick and the Patriots defense did I can use. He's -- -- he's done that he had seen his four previous starts and how he manages that. In hopes of what the Patriots do and I this very well could be one of those games where. The team that makes the fewer mistakes. -- there'll I would think if there's that landed there will be mistakes there'll be an interception or fumble. And it's it's a matter of managing that and make sure you keep your defense that. Chance absolutely as a all the players were working on no fumbles no stupid penalties is gonna stop their drives or pull back first down gains. A lot of things they have to do right is -- because of Bill Belichick coached team does not do a lot of those things and you can't count that you're gonna get those breaks that way. The Wendy's you mentioned calling -- I agree with you this is going to be his toughest challenge mentally. I think guess physically we'll do fine. We've seen his talent and going up against his players but can he recognizes defenses of the different fronts that bring in how they disguised so well and as you said with the weather I think it will be more of a running game. And also because the players are also very forthright this week that. Even have to work on that tiny -- cap for next. During practices it's getting better but they've only hot for weeks -- him taking first team -- and they said his ball comes so quickly it's it's a different way that. The players really -- the receivers really have to work about digging in and out of their route to breaking out of the routes and looking for his ball as it comes so much quicker it's a whole different -- to -- that it has taken time. TDS_T. and Michael Crabtree on Monday said it has been difficult but they were kind of practice they have to make sure shows up on game day. I think a lot of it were one man and his 49ers offense keep pace with a high scoring Patriots offense and it certainly when you look at these last four games. With happening at quarterback the offense hasn't been significantly better and they've scored 31 points against the Saints without too. Defensive touchdowns in the last couple weeks -- they. Credit they cashed in on a nine yard drive because special teams take away. But if it comes to that the Patriots are averaging about 35 points a game that comes to that. Good block. There's no way to forecast it can accept I don't think but the key to the 49ers is that they don't have to get into a shootout because their defense is so good. So yeah they're they're not gonna. The other night and shut out the Patriots. But you need a guy like all of us meant. To back around. Tom Brady. He's going to be up to get this -- fellow second year player in Neitzel over the left tackle for the for the Patriots. Holds that pass to win that battle. Carlos Rogers doesn't necessarily have to win the battle as well as well in the slot. But he asked the older zone so that's what they're looking -- is not so much in the defense keep pace. I'm sorry enough on offense keep pace with the Patriots. Offense it's and the -- defense do the heavy lifting and make sure that the Patriots offense doesn't look like the Patriots offense excitement. The 1 thing that I am intrigued to see if that happens sort of went into the end GA did in New Orleans against the -- -- put some players in some situations they haven't been. In before and it resulted in Drew Brees -- to pick sixes. And one of them with the mod reps in my -- dropping into coverage on tight -- -- -- and it looked like he was going to. Blitzer pressure Brees Brees bid on it and Burks walked away with his first pick six of his career. And this and I think the 49ers play against a very veteran quarterback like Tom Brady. And the better players they had Aaron Hernandez and Wes Welker and that's the good running -- That's gonna play a key role in this is well. In the intimidation factor he to cycles and out of the had a great game against the Dolphins. But he is one of the stars on this 49ers team. If he can get a few licks on Brandon Lloyd if you can get a liquor to -- on Wes Welker it became. Thing round. -- and -- those are the kinds of plays. That he can make a huge stamp on this game from a defensive standpoint so you know it -- when the Patriots have the ball its strength against strength. You know it's gonna be one of the best offenses now let's go -- saved the best offense in the NFL against. The best defense in the NFL and I. Now with the idea I can't wait to see it and will be talking -- fans. At the Renaissance of waterfront in Boston the night before the game Q to get everybody fired up and down. Really excited about that our office actually it's a little bit so I have a -- Appetizers there we can talk to 49ers have also come to the hotel lounge -- -- -- well not we will all be beaten them yet he had the Renaissance waterfront in Boston. The night before the game from 8:30 to about 10 o'clock there's any karaoke. It depends on how many appetizers I have. I know a lot of but -- guys that I mean you certainly have to see in Boston. For the game his name -- -- I think is my favorite game on the schedule so far this I don't know previous pretty good week like I was in week one -- right I think with all the entry in its day. And at this point less than a week from today will be advanced Seattle's best games yet. -- -- -- -- all right it's time that I'll be back next -- right here on CSN Bay Area we'll see you in New England.
