And met with his surgeon had a few injections and that was somewhat new but he said no excuses. You know I have to get this job done I realize that I feel fine it's going to be interesting based on what you seen from Thursday and say really to see -- -- -- practice. Looks better. Yeah active role from what we've seen in just warm ups because we're in the media is allowed to watch the actual practices and on Thursday. Billy tennis -- about five times in front of the entire team it just wore out she could tell that that kind of has a lot more pop in his life. A lot more distance on his kids. Of course it's all about accuracy. And in David Akers. He talked about the the physical ailments that he's gone through this season but. Clearly that last game of the season and there's a lot of stuff going on his attitude you can tell just body language throwing their helmet. That you know he's he wasn't in the best spot. Mentally and I think that that more than eighty thing and the fact that he was he kicking the ball well as a reason for has brought -- -- in. -- seeing Jim Harbaugh true believer in competition and I can raise a player's ability and focus and hopefully. He's saving saving him for the game January 12 against the opponent to be determined so. Percentage wise it it might feel good now but nobody will know anything and tell. The game begins and then the thought as far as how as far as the risk. He's gonna have surgery regardless and whether he -- that thing off of the bone which he very well might. Or not he's still gonna have to have surgery to reattach. That tendon triceps triceps tendon. To the bone. And and go through the entire offseason rehabbing that so I think. They just want to get something out of him knowing that the surgery is gonna happen regardless whether he plays or not. Absolutely from my understanding the best thing he can do for that arm right now this is rested because I have to heal on its own because he can't have surgically repaired talk after the season's dimension to -- not going to test that arm right now. It is too early. You get aggravated make it worse -- you say -- it totally so they won't know until game time in as he said on Thursday said bringing Donald no really quick how much he'll be able to play that. I think the risk is. What essentially be back you know -- 80% 90% in having Justin -- at 80% as opposed -- 85% I mean how detrimental will that be to this team. Yeah you know on the good thing is it Ricky John fans bought did not play poorly. If he he does a pretty good job when he gets in there he's a pretty good backup to have. At that right defensive tackle spot so. -- -- yes I know the defense struggled in the two and half games without Justin Smith. But I don't think you can pin that on on Ricky and I think that having him. John Francois in those games. For the ten quarters I think role will prove beneficial that thing that I would. Think about though is if that hole. Mindset of the other players on the defense is just Smith riding to the rescue or get the Cowboys back and then all of us -- gets out there on the first play. And something goes wrong. Then how big of a deflator is that to the rest of the defense -- mean here's a guy you are MVP of the guy that we put so much trust in him now he can't finish this game. Does that have on a negative impact did nine. And I think this two weeks. It's going to be very crucial for all the Smith because without Justin for the first time he's keen to see a lot more offensive linemen up close to me he's done some one on one.
