That may have come any box here at Candlestick Park where the 48 hours will advance to the second straight NFC championship under Jim Harbaugh thinks of the legs and arm of calling cap for next. Matt his post season debut oh what a wild one has started off very -- but the one thing his teammates that is. He never fault thirty college a little down maybe after that pick sixty through the first drive but it's it actually. He came back even stronger in his demeanor is something that they seen LC. Incredible I mean that play was kind disk in my regulated because he is clearly looking to get the ball to Michael Crabtree who is that guy for him. And when Crabtree slipped coming out of his break it sort of -- awful timing of the play you know making the mistake of of throwing across his body to the other sideline pick six going the other way. But there. That was at that then it was spectacular cap cap for next. On Saturday night running throwing what just. Thorough domination by the 49ers offensive line was fantastic we need to Crabtree of course -- Frank Gore. What about Greg Roman. Great Roman had a fantastic game plan and he told me that. This is the the ace card you know as you know we are we like this kind of hold back when he goes we -- run cap predict all that much during the regular season but we knew we needed and now. And they pulled out that he scarred. And now the royal flush. 881. Yards rushing for -- -- -- set all kinds of records that -- single. Game post season records most rushing yards by quarterback and if ever the franchise record for most rushing yards of any player for the 49ers surpassing Roger Craig it goes on and on we can be talking for hours about all that stuff but in no. Think but I also think it was really strong about this offense is being held the ball for sixteen minutes and two seconds. Longer than the Packers Aaron Rodgers there's no way that off and could mount a comeback. And it was a really close game until the third quarter but I thought that was what was most interesting -- you saw the effect on the Packers defense. And that second half well the 49ers offense was so good. That it was also the for our offense was also the best defense not that the defense to play well and justice Smith coming back. And playing and in playing pretty missed the entire game I don't know if he came out for an inning snapped at the end he wasn't and the goal line -- I mean -- Packers touchdown and and garbage time he wasn't on alignment that neither was every McDonnell. But -- the offense did that did a fantastic job of keeping keeping Aaron Rodgers off the field so. Just. Thorough I mean this was really good game and for this is the -- best game of the season I think pretty easily now when you consider that. You know they gave up -- late touchdown that gave up the -- late meaningless action on the gave up the early touchdown and stilted to put together kind of more firm performance they did was. While it was an impressive showing. Into Frank Gore more than a hundred yards rushing which I thought it was interesting because at the end of the second quarter he's a good amount of time on the sideline. I know something was wrong refusing to go back into this helmet was off. Any had a big red jacket on to keep warming usually in your helmet is off it means not going back in the game for awhile because as Randy Moss was standing their full gear. How they're ready go and whenever but La Michael James -- him get -- Yet he did get some good work and I think he's he contributed well for them to know that blast that two minute sort of set that they had to use. A lot of -- in instead of mosques. And jeans instead of gore so I think and then later he went in there but Frank -- he didn't tell me for what but I know he had X rays he says he's fine -- -- -- on the Reggie and I don't worry about it but it's not. He says he's -- the also Joseph Staley was playing in pain throughout this game is a guy that that first game of the season against. Clay Matthews really got -- up. On the field and also rumored as knows catching what he he thought he broke his arm. Clay Matthews had there engaging Clay Matthews chopped his arm to try to get him off of his -- uniform and he thought that he he broke it in even when he was showing me what happened he hit his own arm any winced in pain so. He's he's banged up but he had a fantastic game to. Head to head to probable guys. Joseph -- clearly won that no one on one -- -- there's one every one on one matchup. Donovan given full strength -- -- after the game -- forthright saying it. He was that not up to par -- was just happy to be done and felt really good leg that he was really struggling coming in trying to fight off. Some illnesses this thing going around the locker room it's it's that time of the year. And then once again 49ers defense they weren't on the field much but they did was they needed to do mean Aaron Rodgers hadn't -- attack an interception in his last five games before this -- -- brown on the deep ball right where he needed to be reading beautifully returned 39 yards and that set up. -- go ahead touchdown for. And a -- to go to when I'm fourteen. Special teams it curse talks about made some nice plays on special and we could name a lot of people who who tickets -- Cox did well. -- CJ -- with a couple big plays including the fumble recovery that the four errors were able to capitalize on he got some justice in the news. Justin Smith that actually they test his arm before this game to really see what his strength level was there we know how -- test today they tested -- but they did do that he set held up well but he will have X ray on Sunday just to make sure that no further damage was done but the team overall. Very pleased with how he played an -- they really weren't surprised because they knew that he had some significant strength. But we didn't know that so obviously they show their tonight yet it did in the foreigners now. Have an extra day on whoever they're going to be playing if that Seattle it's going to be right back here. If it's the Falcons really -- not claiming to want to hotly. Which probably isn't real hot right now I'll a lot of players they'll go wherever but I know they wanna stay here -- icy Seattle Seattle two games on the registered their third game on their -- they're like that's our. I don't know I don't know but by that. I mean I think the and the Falcons might be -- I don't know Rockets are might get better matchup for them. Because I think Seattle in the 49ers. And he's into detail in leagues like get out. I think maybe the 49ers did. Could -- again can beat up the Falcons where I don't think they can do that to Seattle Seattle Seattle plays out. A -- and other until. Chris Clemons -- -- Huge deal for them. Very much circle similar to justice mentally lineup I think for the 49ers were nasty and -- rest after this game compared at least -- yeah now I'll let let it does it. Team that would have phenomenal. A team for the 49ers needed last second to atlas like in spring door as does walked Utley goes -- I was pretty fast enough. Frank yes you looked past the defense like mass. Everybody on offense like that talent Capra that made the Packers look like they are running quicksand trying to keep up with them just a thorough. Performance for -- I think and then landed on this that. The Packers did you really well which. When you saw the big -- Do you James not yet Jamestown and then right after that they went in and no huddle and ran it right in for the touchdown in a quick two to play strike for the touchdown and I think that's something the 49ers. Could see more of against a team like Atlanta -- you know does a really good offenses so that was something where they were caught a little off guard yet to be wide outs from from Atlanta but notably. The -- have fun resting up tomorrow and and watching and seeing who they play. Players will be off on Sundays that means -- and I will -- we will be back on Monday with a Jim Harbaugh press conference of more 49ers and -- is. As we're -- NFC championship game we're excited about it -- Are able seen right here on CSN Bay Area dot com on Monday.
