Here we are a day one of the sharks' season Sharks license and -- a -- result having anchors and the one thing that stands out beyond anything else was right off the top. The team takes the guys that stands were all the fans gave a real nice ovation he shocked by that because actually comes almost. Expecting that yet because the announcement came so late lastly that -- was leaving -- -- -- in the first place of the fact that there were so many fans here. I was against I was really worried about that because I think back to that Bulls game at HB they had 121000 people here. So I I really didn't think too much and backlash here and I expect that time to peaceful for a first game. 26 guys on the ice today we counted hopefully -- -- correct I did what I did on the roster an area that's right because the two that weren't out there were -- Denver's. And Brent Burns we know that -- hasn't fractured his wrist and Brent Burns is also recovering from a different injury. What do you think is the time one on those guys because there are two that were expected to be. In the starting lineup on the Blue Line column in game one -- just -- the mercy walk through -- their second ago and he's he's try to -- in the zone tomorrow. So it was too early to say he'd be in our O line up I just ask Todd maybe sixty seconds ago are you ruling anybody else if you -- and he said no. So that's a good sign and just -- -- courses on the ice today has cast came off that's good sign that. A year ago. By Sunday so. We can -- there's a lot of defensemen here that might be cheered for that open -- process. I thought Justin -- look real good -- a a keen eye on him I was also watching Douglas Murray who seem to be spending a lot of time. We -- associate head coach Larry Robinson it seems like those two were. Having extended conversation or or he was. He was coaching -- a little bit more than everybody else did you see that do you know what I noticed they were only working on the penalty kill shot -- everybody knows the team's Achilles heel last year and for the last couple years but. They were all huddled in the corner of the ice here and every coach -- every took coach took -- turn. Addressing the team Todd spoke for a couple minutes Larry's vote for a list. Jim Johnson's -- for a couple minutes so. You know -- instant credibility Larry robinsons alleged NHL legend of the greatest defensemen all time nine Stanley Cup brings. Right away it should it should help moment and it adds funny as listener Brett had -- can sitting up there and Stanley's watching practice here and breakfast. Explaining. Having a guy like lawyer obviously now there Jim Johnson out there should really help. Believe that with this it's the subject of the TV story I'm doing time for sports net central. Normally training cancer three weeks and you can figure that you gonna get a lot done. You can have your ups and downs in camp but here with just seven days until the first game in Calgary. On Sunday. Thinking reasonably realistically. Accomplish I almost think you have to lower your expectations not a sense of conditioning -- you should be there but just in a sense of you have to understand you're not gonna get a normal camping here. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- None of these players ever gone through this forty games -- before so it'll be. Eventually we'll Kevin and I we'll check in with -- next time we're both here at camp together it's safe to say that's going to be a fun season a wicked pace is we kick things off. But officially today day one of the -- season.
