A pleasure to be joined by the CEO of the San Francisco 49ers. Mr. -- you're good to see jet thank you get to be here how are great. -- fun that media day you were part of that photo it was finally tried dad would try to make it light everybody -- around -- is good time speaking of light. The workouts but don't because we saw a picture you flexing your biceps and we'll settle he had all the guys you know showing off their guys and I -- they're gonna do it down as it has that is -- -- -- -- staying then you know I guess -- I got from that's not a guns out there is an important that your -- be better and -- -- -- the shot he's got into the -- things out of factor. I don't know I -- -- probably has gone -- and -- -- -- babies okay -- will say look you're the face of this franchise now it's long been in your family. And and it's been eighteen years since you guys were in the Super Bowl how proud are you of your team. I am proud of way Jim and trying to been able to accomplish and these guys everything that you guys have worked for. And it is always talked about this is always what what we've said it's our goal is to compete for Super Bowl -- year in and year out. And virginity in the final -- the last two years and then get to the final game this year. Mean it it speaks volumes of what he's been able to do with the talent that's been assembled your local guy you saw what Jim Harbaugh did at Stanford. When you hired him. You knew what you were getting kind of no nonsense fiery guy -- all about the team the team the team and win it but did you really -- in your wildest dreams think. You guys would have this much success this quickly that we expected this you did mean I don't know that I expected to go thirteen and three the first season. But I expected to be in the playoffs and compete for Super Bowls. And you know we knew that we had talent I I said it the year before and I expect our team to win the division we were down 015. And -- Jim was able to sort of galvanized at talent -- catalyst to get it to where we are today. And you know we expect to be here there's a story I don't know if you can confirm or deny that midway through the season. When Jim Harbaugh was debating whether he was gonna switch quarterbacks -- not and someone said he talked to you when you said. It's your football team make your decision not support we can make is that true story -- and an eight. I don't wanna make it sound like it was a detailed in depth meeting edges you know just -- -- and seen how he's doing just. Fast you know what you got right now my dad's cap. And okay you know I mean you could argue it either way right but he's -- head coach and he's got to live with the decisions that he makes and I got to support. And if you don't support your head coach and he should go find new ones and I sport Jamont out of percent so -- hired him to make those decisions that's why is there enough and mean he's much more qualified to do that tonight. Well you know what. -- since liken it a good decision because this government thing has brought us all the New Orleans absolutely and you know I don't wanna take anything away from Alex or anything away from the other 51 guys on the roster because it's it's been a team effort. And and I think it's been a testament to what -- is put together. And and what Jim has gotten out of guys after the Falcons game you were interviewed very emotional you talked about your son and what it meant to the team. It seems like I'm. Look there's owners who take pride in this and then there's people that are emotionally vested in this you seem like the latter. I mean this is my family that team is part of my family and I I think that everybody that's a part of this team is a part of my family and watch. You know the next generation my son you know be there with my uncle my mom and my dad. Mean it is just visualize in a better viewing other than watching my son and it being born right but you brought your son to regain your son is good luck. Awhile back and all I hope so -- we continues to be a dilemma when you come to a city like this and and we. Saw the players today every player to a man they said media days okay. They said it's a business trip this seems so focused you've been a lot around a lot of teams is this a more focused team than we've seen. What they're more experienced than last year I think we did think we were a little bit had a ourselves last year not from a talent standpoint that we just hadn't been there before. And the breaks didn't go our way against the Giants last year. And you know this year I think we we stepped up to the challenge and you know that experience really paid off. When you throw picks six your first drive when you're down seventeen not then the experience sort of gets you through that. Are you enjoying New Orleans do you get to walk Bergen street had a had a bad -- yet. Did Denny's last night you know my brother went to two lane and when that the Saints and NFC west. And I go up and on and Youngstown so this is one of plays that we would come every single year so no one senator has a very special place in my heart. And I mean I love being here it's a fantastic city jet we're gonna do a long post game so we hope to have you on after -- hoisting the Lombardi trophy congratulations by -- not congratulations yet so long way to go -- congrats for getting here I appreciate I appreciate it. --
