Basically get on CSN Bay Area dot com whether Giants insider interim regularly I am Ahmed -- some of the big guns were talking today. What those big guns Barry Zito finished the year very strong last year in the post season. -- -- bullpen session here in Scottsdale to Dave and Andrew found out he's been torn up amount for quite some time. He has he's been going about twice a week off a mound since early January so he's got about eight or nine bullpen sessions under his belt that looks like. He's been throwing it very crisp and just very sure of himself and that's something that we haven't always seem that there is you know in spring training we all remember. It was a disaster at the end of last spring here to stay behind. Walruses teammates went up to the Bay Area so we can throw once more against minor leaguers who was just throwing batting practice for the into the spring. And I think that's a function of the fact that Zito has a lot of people he consults -- the offseason people who aren't taking easy -- Ian and movement and motion and how it the most out of his body and some of the the things translated to some very interesting looks on the mounties and -- most of the last -- His first spring as a giant of course he was to -- the tape measure in. And was working with a long stride and in some very odd mechanics but you know what I think that Barry -- the experience he had last year. Not only saving this season. I -- the St. Louis Cardinals the winning game one of the World Series and really redeeming himself in the eyes of so many fans I think that. That's gonna do wonders for his confidence in. He doesn't have to sort of reinvent himself this spring you can go with. With what's worked in his strengths he's been in the big leagues a long time and Nigeria is in his six years a giant and he looks comfortable and confident with who he has. Quarter called walk year for him to he's got to have a little more confidence coming into this year he says he wants -- the Giants for years to come as he's said this is the start of that are in the middle of the dynasty run. For the giants' Buster -- a big reason why the Giants are in the middle of maybe -- dynasty run that we get to talk to him what does stuck out with their conversation when buster. Well I think you know what stuck out to everybody and Bruce coach you mentioned this today as well as it's amazing to -- that Posey hasn't looked limited. Hasn't had to time the training room. Hasn't really said one thing about his ankle which was such a focus last spring every time you would do anything even if it was just. You know running around the bases and it was it was big news and this year it is just a complete nonissue in. Talking -- he said he is a little stiff sometimes when he wakes up in the morning. But that quickly goes away it loosens up he doesn't have to spend all that time the trainers room barely -- ice anymore. He says he's not naive enough to think it'll never be a problem again it is something we're gonna have to do some maintenance work on keep it strong. But it looks like you know in the words of Bruce both who looks like it never happened that ankle injury. Tell Bruce what she definitely surprised about that and genuinely impressed that goes policies in the pull that off an international team. This Giants team is we have few Japanese contingent and the media around here because the new Japanese infielder projects. We do it can -- gates and knock and I had the pleasure of speaking with him today through bullpen catcher tyra we much so I walked up and I said hi Manny is -- he said I'm when he was ten and I said -- you speak English and he said. No. That's a okay -- such -- -- c'mon over we need your help. But. It was funny as he always wanted to experience a World Series. As a player in Japan and so he. Came over and bought a ticket for the World Series in San Francisco. In 2010 music game one. And he was struck then by by the Chinese like the style of baseball at this team plays and he likes the fact that you don't have a lot of home runs but they rely on a lot of contact them moving on the base path to score runs. He thinks the Giants are perfect fit for him and he went to an open tryout. In January and in press club officials. Also had some good reports from John Cox who is the Giants international Pacific rim scouting director. And so he gave up what could be guaranteed job in Japan. To play for turn turn to when Joba as the Giants extra infielder he's got a decent shot. Do that in the Giants built up not only in this country is easy -- all across the world -- stuff as the inside info from a Scottsdale today for injure Bagley can follow him on Twitter. CSN bags duties. Ahmed -- CSN. On Twitter as well basically get out CSN Bay Area that count.
