What does Alex Smith's legacy with the San Francisco 49 -- that day because his legacy as he's the guy who proved me wrong. Oh yeah. -- I thought that was the worst decision -- decision in the history of sports. For Alex to come back here and for Harbaugh to want him to come back here. And I wrote that it was terrible horrible idea in every way and they proved me wrong actually -- through -- real legacy. His that he -- Harbaugh restored dignity and power to the 49ers and to the Bay Area football Purdy is the wordy go. Yeah you know I think innocence he is a guy who waited through a lot of toxic weird crap here and handle with -- far better grace and right around way. But that's -- and me I mean the guy has a lot of class and happy that he was able to finish his career run on an -- note and think about this. In the whole NFL history of the 49ers they're only five quarterbacks that one playoff games and he's one of them. You know it's it's -- Montana young Jeff Garcia and him that's that's not a bad -- only five people. Raise soft spot or not. For Alex and semi soft spot because on the one hand he got paid for all the -- he took. On the other hand the 49ers for six years. Wore a bad serve it to him because they didn't provide a much stability in the front office. The coaching level on the roster. For him for him to -- -- it took Jim Harbaugh basically to figure out that he's a guy who. Excels at preparation and in a low risk. High performance offense and they got everything they were gonna get out of them long term. His legacy is he's the modern day John -- which is a guy who served the franchise better in the franchiser. Not a bad thing to have.
