Tampa, Fla., police released Saturday's 911 call in which a woman accused former San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster of domestic violence.

"My ex-boyfriend just took my phone [and broke it] ... slapped me in my face and threatened me," a woman told the 911 dispatcher (via WFLA). "He took my phone and broke it and slapped me in my face."

You can listen to the full call, which was released Monday, in the video player below.

Police were called to the Grand Hyatt in Tampa on Saturday night. Elissa Ennis, whom police described as Foster's on-again, off-again girlfriend, told police that he slapped a phone out of her hand, pushed her in the chest with one hand and then slapped the left side of her face with an open hand. Ennis had a one-inch scratch on her left collarbone, according to police.

The 49ers released Foster on Monday, two days after he was arrested. Foster returned to the Bay Area the same day, and the Santa Clara District Attorney's office said it will re-examine the case that was dismissed in May.

Ennis accused Foster of domestic violence after an incident in Februrary, but did not cooperate with the DA at the time.

According to a criminal report affidavit obtained by NBC Sports Bay Area, Ennis wants to press charges against Foster in this recent incident.
