Ankle injuries force RBs McFadden, Goodson to miss practice

ALAMEDA -- Darren McFadden was not practicing Wednesday morning, the running back's sprained ankle keeping him out of sight during the open media window to Raiders practice.Same with backup running back Mike Goodson and his sprained ankle and cornerback Shawntae Spencer, who is still recovering from a sprained right foot suffered in Week 2.Defensive tackle Richard Seymour, meanwhile, was also taking the day off, though it was not known yet if it was for an injury.Right tackle Khalif Barnes, though, was practicing for the first time since suffering a groin injury that required a procedure on it, and defensive tackle Desmond Bryant, who left the Raiders' loss Sunday to Tampa Bay at halftime and spent the night at Eden Medical Center with a fast and irregular heartbeat, was also practicing.And linebacker Aaron Curry, taken off the PUP list Tuesday and added to the 53-man roster, was beginning his third week of practice.
