"I believe so," Carmelo told "The Dan Patrick Show" on Thursday.

"I believe so," Carmelo answered. "I always have that mindset. When it comes to being on that court, I don't think anybody is better."

Dan Patrick also asked Carmelo if Steph Curry is the best player in the NBA.

"I mean, that's a very difficult..." Anthony started before Patrick interrupted with: "If I said you can start your team with anybody in the NBA right now..."

"I don't know, man. I love Steph Curry. I love his game. I love everything about him," Anthony explained. "But it's just kind of hard to narrow things down. I won't be put in that position where I have to narrow four or five guys down (laughing). I can't do that."
