City Hall will be decked out in CCSF Rams Red.

This Friday night San Francisco City Hall will light up in red in honor of the CCSF football team’s state and national title matchup against Saddleback College.

For the CCSF football team and its coaching staff, the support from the school and the city has been overwhelming.

“The support we are receiving from the entire college and from Mayor Ed Lee’s Office shows how important City College is for the entire city and the communities it serves both academically and athletically,” said Rams Head Football Coach Jimmy Collins.

The lighting of City Hall ties into the CCSF Red Friday online rally for the Rams football team. Fans are encouraged to wear red clothing, take a group or selfie picture, and post their photo on Instagram and Twitter with #ccsfredfriday.  When City Hall lights up in red tomorrow, it will be a perfect spot to take a picture to post online.

This Saturday the Rams (11-1, National Rank No. 1) hosts Saddleback College (10-2, National Rank No. 3) for a gridiron showdown that will determine the CCCAA State Champion. For the Rams, a coveted 10thNational title will also be at stake. Kickoff is at Noon.
