SAN JOSE –- While the need for a starting goalie was most obvious hole for the Sharks to fill this offseason, finding another defenseman was a pretty close second.


UPDATE (6:18 p.m. PST): The Sharks and Martin Jones have agreed to a three-year contract worth $9 million, according to Jones' agent Jarrett Bousquet.



FT. LAUDERDALE -– For the second time in three years, the Sharks gave up a valuable asset to move up just a few places in the NHL Entry Draft.
