Lions running back LeGarrette Blount is known to let his emotions get the best of him in the heat of competition.
On Sunday, it got him kicked out of the game against the 49ers at Levi's Stadium.
With 10:25 remaining in the fourth quarter, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford scrambled toward his bench. As Stafford was going out of bounds, 49ers linebacker Elijah Lee delivered a hit that knocked the QB to the ground. Blount, who was standing on the sideline, took exception to Lee's hit on Stafford and shoved the second-year pro linebacker.
