Plenty of losing teams have thrown for more than 400 yards in a game, but the 49ers did something unique on Saturday night.
SANTA CLARA –- It was going to be a short night of work for 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree, who did not practice much during the week due to a knee injury.
This would have been the perfect time for Jim Harbaugh to walk up to a desk with hats from the seven or eight NFL teams looking for coaches this coming offseason and one at the end from Michigan.
