Following a strong campaign with the Warriors last season, Carl Landry has opted out of the final year of his contract, the team has confirmed to CSNBayArea.com.
The 29-year-old power forward had a player option on the last year of his deal with the Warriors that would pay him $4 million. He'll now enter free agency.

Landry averaged 10.8 points and six rebounds in 81 regular season games. His solid play continued into the postseason, where he contributed an average of 11.8 points per game.
The 6'9" Milwaukee native could be a hot commodity on the free agent market, though the possibility exists that he negotiates a new contract with Golden State.
