The Clippers waived former Warriors forward Dorell Wright, the team announced on Wednesday.

Wright signed with Los Angeles days before training camp opened.

The 30-year old played seven minutes in the Clippers' preseason loss at Golden State on Oct. 4, and about three minutes the following night against the Raptors.

He did not score any points in either game.

Wright last played in the NBA in 2014-15, when he averaged 4.6 points over 48 games, while shooting nearly 38 percent from deep for the Blazers.

In the 2010-11 campaign, he started all 82 games for the Warriors and averaged 16.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest.

His 194 made 3-pointers led the NBA, and at the time, was a Golden State single-season record.
