Jarron Collins is joining Steve Kerr's staff with the Warriors, he announced Thursday afternoon.

Collins revealed the news minutes after
Luke Walton confirmed he, too, was joining the organization.

Collins played for the Suns during the 2009-10 season, Kerr's last year as general manager in Phoenix.

The Stanford University product spent his first eight NBA seasons in Utah, and retired after a 2011 campaign with the Clippers (23 appearances) and Blazers (five appearances). 

His identical twin brother, Jason, recently became the first openly gay player in the NBA.
