Curry sits out his third consecutive practice

OAKLANDWarriors point guard Stephen Curry remains agame-time decision for Sundays regular-season opener against the L.A.Clippers.Curry did not participate in the Warriors practice onSaturday afternoon, the third consecutive one hes missed since spraining hisright ankle in Tuesday nights exhibition game against the Kings.Curry indicated on Friday that, ideally, hed like to get apractice in before Sundays game. But coach Mark Jackson said he wasnt goingto rule Curry out with more than a day until tip-off.No reason (for Curry to practice), Jackson said. We get alittle bit more time to get treatment and make sure to give him the bestpossible chance to play, And well make a decision (Sunday).Curry did come out to the teams practice floor afterpractice and got some shots up, but not at game speed. Curry worked out withassistant coach Michael Malone, doing shooting drills, then went into thelocker room to get treatment.He didnt speak to reporters afterwards.
