Curry sits out practice, questionable Tuesday vs Hawks

UPDATE (Monday at 11:05am) -- Stephen Curry received treatment on his left ankle and did not participate in Warriors practice on Monday. He is listed as questionable for Tuesday night's game against the Hawks.

Curry left the Warriors' Saturday evening game against the Thunder after injuring his left ankle, but he was able to return to the game and key the Golden State's come-from-behind overtime victory, punctuating it by drilling the game-winning 3-pointer with .6 seconds left.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Steph Curry left in the third quarter of the Warriors-Thunder game Saturday, limping off the court with an apparent injury to his left ankle.

Curry was driving in for a layup and has he landed, Thunder guard Russell Westbrook landed on Curry’s ankle.

The Warriors were trailing 57-52 at the time.

Already off balance, Curry immediately dropped to the floor grimacing. He remained seated for several moments before rising and limping into the locker room. Backup point guard Shaun Livingston entered the game for Curry with 10:29 left in the quarter.

Curry re-entered the game at the 5:10 mark of the third quarter. On the broadcast, it was said that Curry had his ankle retaped.

Curry eventually won the game with a last-second 3-pointer from nearly half court, tallying his NBA record-tying 12th 3-pointer of the game and his 46th points in the Warriors' 121-118 OT win.
