Durant calls Curry 'best shooter to ever play'

Kevin Durant is in the midst of a historic nine-game run in which he is averaging 38.9 points game.

But while the Thunder's forward is having his way on the court right now, he admits there is one competition he would lose.

Asked by a fan on Twitter who would win a 3-point contest between himself and Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Durant was emphatic in his response.

Curry established a new all-time single-season record for 3-pointers last season with 272, and earlier this season, he broke Jason Richardson's franchise record for 3-pointers made. As of Thursday, Curry has made 772 3-pointers in his career.
