SACRAMENTO – The Warriors, the NBA’s only undefeated team, will try to extend their season-opening win streak to seven on Saturday night when they face the Kings at Sleep Train Arena.

The Warriors are, quite simply, crushing opponents, with five of their six victories coming by double digits. Reigning MVP Steph Curry has been incredible, shooting 56.9 percent, including 51.4 percent from 3-point range.

The Kings, meanwhile, have lost five consecutive games, including the last three without All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins, who is not expected to play Saturday. Cousins has been their best player, though rookie big man Willie Cauley-Stein is showing great promise.

There is one thing the teams have in common. Both are playing at a quick tempo, averaging 105 possessions per 48 minutes. The Warriors, however, have been far more efficient, averaging 11 more points per game.

OPENING LINE:
Warriors by 11.5.

MATCHUP TO WATCH:
Stephen Curry vs. Rajon Rondo. These All-Star point guards have very different styles. Curry is all silky savvy, with unlimited shooting range. Rondo is a notoriously poor shooter from distance but has a polished all-around game, which makes him more of a triple-double threat. What they have in common is an insane drive to beat their opponent.

INJURY REPORT:
Warriors: C Andrew Bogut (concussion) and F Kevon Looney (hip surgery) are out.

Kings: C DeMarcus Cousins (right Achilles strain) and G Darren Collison (left hamstring strain) are out. G Seth Curry (right ankle sprain) is doubtful. F Omri Casspi (right shoulder strain) and C Willie Cauley-Stein (left ankle sprain) are probable.

SERIES HISTORY:
The Warriors have won eight in a row over the Kings – the longest such streak since the Warriors moved to the Bay Area in 1962. In sweeping four games last season, the Warriors averaged a 22-point margin.
