LOS ANGELES -- The way the Warriors took down the Clippers this time was, by turns, quick and slow but ultimately methodical.
Though the defense clearly missed Draymond Green, the offense kept coming in a wire-to-wire 133-120 victory before a bipartisan crowd at Staples Center.

The Warriors (43-7) have beaten the Clippers (31-19) nine consecutive times, including three times this season.
Seven Warriors scored in double figures, with Stephen Curry putting in 29 points to lead the way. Kevin Durant put in 26 points, Klay Thompson 21 and JaVale McGee added 11. Coming off the bench, Andre Iguodala totaled 13 points, Ian Clark 11 and James Michael McAdoo 10.
Blake Griffin scored 31 points to lead the Clippers.

Curry was terrific and so was Thompson. So, too, was McGee. But nobody submitted a more complete game than did Durant.

Durant’s line: 26 points (8-of-18 shooting from the field, including 2-of-7 from deep, 8-of-8 from the line), 10 assists, eight rebounds and he played 37 minutes, finishing plus-13.
TURNING POINT
Though the Warriors never trailed, clear separation didn’t come until late in the third quarter.
After LA pulled within eight (84-76) with 5:19 left in the quarter, the Warriors went on an 18-8 run to go up 102-84 on an Ian Clark jumper with 25 seconds left in the third.
After the Warriors pushed the lead to 21 early in the fourth, the Clippers rallied back but got no closer than seven over the final nine minutes.
INJURY UPDATE
Warriors: G Shaun Livingston (mid-back strain) was listed as doubtful and declared out two hours before tipoff. F Draymond Green (L shoulder contusion), C Zaza Pachulia (R rotator cuff strain) and C David West (L thumb fracture) were listed as out.
Clippers: G Chris Paul (L thumb ligament tear) and F Brice Johnson (acute herniated disc) were listed as out.
