BOX SCORE

OAKLAND -- Back in the comforts of home, the Warriors almost got too comfortable.

Getting clobbered on the glass and trailing Houston by as many as 13 points, the Warriors came back for a 107-98 victory before a sellout crowd (19,596) Friday night at Oracle Arena.

The win, their 10th in a row, sliced to four the Warriors’ magic number for clinching the overall No. 1 seed in the postseason.

Four Warriors scored in double figures, led by Stephen Curry, who poured in a game-high 24. Klay Thompson finished with 20 points, Andre Iguodala with 14 and JaVale McGee with 13.

The Warriors (62-14) overcome a 49-43 rebounding deficit with stingy defense, holding Houston to 37.0-percent shooting from the field. MVP candidate James Harden totaled a team-high 17 points on 4-of-18 shooting.

Houston (51-25) lost for the third consecutive time this week, including twice to the Warriors.

STANDOUT PERFORMER

Iguodala put himself all over the stat sheet and did more than his share to lift the Warriors to victory.

Iguodala’s line: 14 points (6-of-12 shooting, 2-of-6 from deep), five rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals. He played 29 minutes and was plus-10.

TURNING POINT

After a Sam Dekker 3-pointer gave the Rockets a 92-88 lead with 9:40 to play, the Warriors stormed back with a 12-0 run punctuated by a Shaun Livingston free throw that gave them a 100-92 lead with 3:00 remaining.

The Warriors limited Houston 0-of-11 shooting, with three turnovers, during that stretch.

Houston got as not closer than five over the final three minutes.

OF NOTE

Draymond Green during the game became the first Warriors player to post at least 150 steals and 100 blocks in a season.
