OAKLAND – Warriors guard Klay Thompson scored 40 points in the first half against Indiana on Monday, the most he has scored in a half in his six-year career.
Thompson was 15-of-22 from the field, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc. He was 5-of-5 from the foul line.
Thompson’s previous high for a half was 39, accomplished against Sacramento on Jan. 23, 2015.
