NBA Gameday: New-look Warriors exhibition debut vs Raptors

The Warriors open preseason play – and Kevin Durant makes his first game appearance with his new teammates – Saturday afternoon, when they face the Toronto Raptors at Rogers Arena.

In addition to Durant, fellow veterans Zaza Pachulia and David West also will be making their debut as Warriors.

THE LINEUPS

The Warriors projected starters are Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson at guard, Draymond Green and Durant at forward and Pachulia at center.

The Raptors projected starters are Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan at guard, DeMarre Carroll and Jared Sullinger at forward and Jonas Valanciunas at center.

MINUTES PLAN

Though coach Steve Kerr says all healthy players likely will enter the game, none is scheduled to go much longer than about 20 minutes.

Warriors: Non-roster invitees Cameron Jones (R pectoral surgery) and Elliott Williams (R knee surgery) are listed as out.

Raptors: G Delon Wright (R shoulder surgery) is listed as out.

OF NOTE

This is the third consecutive season the Raptors have opened preseason play in Vancouver, with victories in the previous two games.
