Oscar Robertson is one of the greatest basketball players of all-time.

What does he think about Steph Curry?

"He shot well because of what's going on in basketball today," Robertson explained on ESPN's "Mike and Mike" on Thursday morning. "In basketball today, if you can dunk or hit a 3-point shot, you're the greatest thing since sliced bread ... when I played, if a guy made an outside shot, next time I'm gonna be on top of you.

"I'm gonna pressure you three quarters, half-court defense, but now they don't do that. These coaches do not understand the game of basketball as far as I'm concerned."

On Wednesday night in Miami, Curry tied Kyle Korver's record by making a 3-pointer in his 127th straight game.

He registered 42 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, while making 6-of-12 from beyond the arc.

Curry has already made 266 3-pointers this season -- 20 shy of matching the all-time single season record he set last year.

"If I got a guy who is great shooting the shot outside, hey, you want to extend your defense out a little bit?" Robertson added.

The Warriors lead the league in points per game (115.1), assists (29) and 3-point FG percentage (41.9).
