Add the president to the list of basketball players and fans crawling over each other to praise the shooting prowess of Warriors point guard Stephen Curry.

President Barack Obama said Thursday, during an exclusive TNT interview with Charles Barkley, that he's never seen a better shooter.

"Curry is the best shooter I've ever seen,'' Obama told Barkley.

Keep in mind that Obama claims Chicago teams and, therefore, is very familiar with a guy named Michael Jordan – as well as Craig Hodges and Steve Kerr, a couple other former Bulls with outstanding outside shooting ability.

A devoted and knowledgeable fan of the game, Obama also could have named retired stars Reggie Miller or Larry Bird. The president went right past the likes of active stars Kevin Durant and Steve Nash.

Obama went straight to the Warrior, just as most everybody else did during Friday's All-Star Weekend news conferences.

The interview with Barkley is scheduled to air Sunday during halftime of the NBA All-Star Game.
