Could the Warriors be getting closer to filling one of their assistant coaching vacancies?

According Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, Mark Jackson has been in talks with former NBA player Brian Scalabrine since last week for a spot on the Warriors coaching staff.

Golden State is looking for replacements after losing two of their assistant coaches in the offseason, with Mike Malone taking the Sacramento Kings head coaching position and Bob Beyer going to the Charlotte Bobcats.

Scalabrine turned down an assistant coaching position with the Bulls after his final NBA season in 2011-2012 with Chicago.
