Warriors coach Mark Jackson has forced assistant coach Brian Scalabrine to be reassigned, as Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports an increasingly dysfunctional atmosphere within Golden State's coaching staff.

While ownership and management do not intend to let Scalabrine leave the organization, the report indicates that the team's decision makers will honor their head coach's wish. The capacity of Scalabrine's new role is not yet known.

The article reveals a number of other red flag-raising dynamics within the team organization:

(Former assistant coach) "Michael Malone and Jackson would go weeks without speaking to each other a year ago, league sources said."

"There have been no conversations about an extension for Jackson -- nor are they expected to take place, sources said."

"Jackson had tried and failed to get involved with several head-coaching openings over the past year, including the Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets, league sources said."
