Report: Mutual interest between Warriors, Willie Reed

Willie Reed is an unrestricted free agent and is looking for a new home.

There is mutual interest between the Warriors and Reed, according to Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders.

Reed made his NBA debut last season, appearing in 39 games (two starts) for the Nets.

He averaged 4.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per night.

The 26-year old went undrafted in 2011, and began his professional career in the D-League during the 2012-13 season.

Over 47 games in 2014-15 -- 30 for for the Grand Rapids Drive and 17 with the Iowa Energy -- Reed averaged 16.4 points, 12.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocks.

The 6'10" forward was an All-Star and took home All-Defensive First-Team and All-NBA D-League First Team honors.
